It's been 7 years to that trip. The trip that lead me to her. The trip that change my life.

"Yes Maa, I will take care. You should too." I ended the hour long call from my mother to instruct the do's and don'ts of the trip.

Technically it's the part of my assignment, the last one which will decide whether I'll be graduating this year or not.

Manali is the last destination. My work is next to complete and so it the deadline, I only have two days to submit and hence it's the last day.

The topic, of course is India, the real beauty of India. People in the US and other countries always think of slum when they hear the word India.

I really want to show them what India really is. I always wonder why people are so judgemental. So this will be a tight slap on their faces, to stop them from looking down on my country.

I have no intention of overly romanticing it either I will show that as it is.

"Yeh lijiye bhaiyaa aapki chai. ( Here is your tea.)" The tea stall guy stopped me from further cursing the annoying people. They should thank him.

"Thank you." The Kulhad Wali Chai helped a lot in this freezing weather

Usually I am a coffee person but in the Northern India nothing is better that Kulhad Wali Chai. I am so addicted to it that I might permanently switch to Chai.

"Chai achi lagi bhaiyaa? (Did you like the tea?)" The tea stall guy asked.

"Arey bhaiyaa bohat achi hai. (Yes it was really nice.)" I put the Kulhad cup down to pay.

"Aap Hindi badi achhi bolte hai. (You speak Hindi really well.)" He commented.

"Arey bhaiyaa main Indian hi hun. (Oh I am Indian actually.) " Why do people always think I am a foreigner. Just because I am fair? Or is it the accent?

Could be the second one. I did pick up the American accent since few years. Not their fault actually.

"Sachhi? Maaf karna bhaiyaa humse galatfehmi ho gai. Aap dikhte itne gore hai aur angreji bhi gore logo jaisi hi hai isiliye. (Oh really! I am sorry I misunderstood. You look little too fair and because of the accent.) The guy apologise like every other one who misunderstand says.

"Arey koi baat nahi bhaiyaa sab dhokha kha jate hai. Ab toh adat ho gai hai. (It is okay, everyone does. I am kind of used to it now)"

"Kya bhaiyaa aap bhi. (Funny you.)" He let a laugh out.

"Waise yaahan se market kitna dur hai? (By tge way how far is thr market?)

"Cycle se jane main bas 15 min ka rasta hai. (15 mins by the bicycle)"
