Chapter 06

A New Friend?

Third Person POV
We made it to the electrical station," Laura stated, which made the three stare at her.

"Well if Laura says we made it to the next level then it must be true," Biscuit said, which made Laura chuckle.

"Hey Kihew I never asked, but how long have you been here for?," Laura asked, that made the tanned male stare at her.

"Well I lost track of time after the first few days being here. All I know is I made it here in the year of 2022 of July 2nd," Kihew said.

"So a whole year we came here on 2023 july 2nd," Laura said. Kihew looked shocked and saddened.

"Oh...," The male said, saddened. It made Laura look at him, saddened to see her new friend sad.

"It's gonna be ok we will get out of here together," Laura said. She pulled him into a hug making his face blow up in red but he returned the hug. The male placed his face in the shorter female's hair softly crying causing Biscuit and Willow to bump their heads into Kihews side.

"Hey it's ok Kihew we are all gonna make it out because we have Laura with us so it's gonna be ok," Willow said, the two humans pulled away. Kihew then laughed softly, making the mood lighten up a bit.

"Now I know I can count on you," He said, making Laura pat his head.

"You do know we'll never leave you," Laura said, making Kihews admiration for her grow. Laura smiled as she started to rummage through her bag and grabbed some flashlights, she passed it to Kihew and smiled brightly at him making him blush softly.

He gently grabs the flashlight and the two turn them on and start walking forward. Laura then gently grabbed Kihews hand making him blush as Willow looks back at the tall male and does an impression of an eyebrow wiggle making biscuit smack her head.

"OUCH!" Willow yelps causing the she-cat to glare at the tom-cat, Laura sighed and shook her head at her cat's antics.

"HELP ME!" The four heard a female voice yelp as Laura turned over to seen a small calico running their way. Laura then looked behind the calico and saw a hound chasing the poor cat. Laura grabs her gun and aims it towards the hound.

She then pulled the trigger, the bullet zooms through the air making a bang sound out of the gun as it flies past the calico and into the head of the hound. The hound then fell over dead, blood leaking out of the bullet hole. The calico ran towards the girl and jumped into her chest causing the brunette to grab the cat and cuddled her close. The brunette's two cats glare at the newcomer, pissed that she's getting comforted by THEIR owner.

"HMPH," Willow huffed as she turned her head away making Biscuit laughed at her jealousy.

"HAHA! Thought lady's don't get jealous, clearly you proved me wrong!" Biscuit laughed, making Willow smack him in the face as he growled out an ouch.

"Don't act like you're not jealous either," Willow hissed, making Biscuit growl at her as the two then glared at the new cat.

"Would you two please shut up," Laura hissed out at them making them shut their traps immediately and nod.

"Sweetie what's your name," Laura asks in a calm soft voice making the calico look up at the girl.

"Vita," Vita said as the young woman nodded and petted her head soothingly as the cat started to purr.

"Sweetie do you have anyone you belong to?" Laura asked the calico, causing her to shake her head no as the young woman nodded.
"Would you like to come with us sweetie?" Laura asked again, making the calico nod her head.
