The day has finally come. It was Bakugou's first day at UA High, and technically Izuku's first day as well, just not in the same way. As a ghost, Izuku doesn't need to sleep, so he spends his days exploring and gathering information to spend his nights recalling and writing down. So while Bakugou slept in his bed, resting for his first day at the number one hero school in Japan, Izuku sat at the end of his bed, writing about a new hero that just surfaced that week.
Soon the sun rose, Bakugou's alarm went off, and Izuku had to quickly leave, as to not give away his presence with the disembodied mumbling, floating pen, and floating book. Once Izuku hid his notebook and pen at the very top of some tree in the area, he made his way back to the Bakugou household, just in time to leave for the train station with Bakugou! Now sure, Izuku could just float to UA and probably get there faster than the train, it was the thought that mattered to him!
Izuku would have taken this exact train at this exact time to UA if he had been alive, and if he'd made it into UA. Overall, Izuku was extremely happy with his ghost status, yea it came from years of torment and despair, but he was a ghost now! However, from time to time Izuku would find himself missing being alive. The foreign feeling of the sun shining and warming up his skin, the calming feeling of waking up just before the sun rose and getting to watch a new day begin, the sweet old ladies he would help across the street and get candy from, but most of all, Izuku missed his mother.
He followed her to the hospital after calling in his body, he watched her break down in tears upon seeing his cold, dead corpse, and he watched her call her best friend to find comfort. Those hours she spent crying at the hospital were the worst hours of his life. He sat there right beside her, resting his heavy head against her shoulder, but at that point, Izuku hadn't figured out his powers yet, and could only sit there and watch while his mother mourned. the loss of her only child.
Before Izuku knew it, the train had come to a stop and Kachan was making his way off along with the rest of the crowd. Izuku caught up quickly and floated by the blond's side all the way to the oversized door to UA's main hero class, class 1a.
As soon as the door opened Izuku was hit with a wave of many emotions, confusion, anger, sadness, and even excitement. Izuku wasn't even attending UA as a student, but he could barely contain his excitement at just being in one of the classes!
"It took you a total of 7 seconds to notice me, that would get you killed in the field."
Izuku hadn't even noticed Kachan had taken his seat minutes ago, I guess that habit will always stay with him, even in death. A bright yellow caterpillar-like shape was the one talking, who even is that?
"I'm your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Sensei. I will be in charge of teaching you the proper way to be a hero, it is my duty to make sure you all survive the hero work."
An indescribable feeling was cast over the classroom, with only a few words Aizawa Senseit had completely changed the mood of all of his new students, Izuku could tell even Kachan was shocked.
"You will now be grabbing a training uniform and quickly changing into them. Meet me at the training field."
The class jumped up and made their way to the front of the room, grabbing a uniform before hurrying to change, no one wanted to upset their clearly stern teacher on the first day of class. The first-year heroes had no clue what they were in for, and they had no clue Izuku Midoryia was in it with them.
