Chapter 29

It was all coming together.

Thorn couldn't help but note with glee as he helped Solar up after healing the injuries that Taufan had caused.

The now reversed brother turned to him with a smirk, before glaring at the one who had beaten him up earlier, "You went too far. I could've died, you idiot!"

"It's not my fault that you're such a weakling." Taufan teased as he continued controlling the cold harsh winds around them.

"That's enough fighting! We need to get along!" Thorn hopped on his heels and glomped Halilintar, who pushed him away with a disgusted look.

"Thorn is right." Gempa approached them with a smile, "We have a mission after all."

"Look for Ice and make him join us." Taufan chirped before hastily adding, "Then kill Blaze."

The earth manipulator rolled his eyes, "We are not killing Blaze."

"We all know what he's capable of once he's reversed." Solar stepped forward while trying to brush off all the dirt and grime that stuck on his clothes, "We are not as innocent and protective of the power spheres as Blaze is. And once you reverse him..."

"Yup!" Thorn couldn't help but butt in with a sadistic grin, "Even I wasn't that naïve."

"That's enough." Gempa had now grown serious, scarlet eyes filled with threat it made Thorn back up a little, "Blaze would make a great addition to our team. His powers combined with ours will be enough to overpower every galaxies and have all the power spheres do our bidding while of course, keeping our promise to RevBot that he remains safe. Isn't that right, RevBot?"

"Affirmative." Said the powersphere who was in Halilintar's arms.

Solar merely narrowed his eyes, "And what do you propose we do if Blaze does end up... unpredictable?"

Gempa was about to speak when Thorn saw something heading their way and immediately exclaimed, "Duri Pelindung Mengkuang!"

Five ice arrows suddenly pierced his woven thorn shield and exploded into a thick icy dome that suddenly surrounded them, leaving them trapped.

They watched as Gempa's expression morphed into elation, "Here's your answer now, Solar."

Ice was a mess.

Thorn couldn't help but wince as his brother grabbed Gempa, trying to get him to understand that-

"We have to leave! NOW!"

"We can't." Gempa insisted as he pushed Ice off of him, "We have to check for any damages Api had made and make sure no one got hurt!"

They had managed to put out the fire in the park a little too long for their liking since the flames had managed to reach the tree sanctuary of the park. Though Thorn was one hundred percent sure that Ice had indeed been a little too fast and in a rush than he usually was, which also resulted to a clumsy and messy procedure in putting out the flames.
