As overhearing with another job, Echo decides to go shopping for food due to having low supplies.
Echo: Okay, let's see.... (Check his list) I need butter, milk, lettuce, bread, cheese, and... salami.
After getting all his supplies, Echo started walking out of the store. Even though the other demons were staring at him, they knew not to mess with him.
Echo: I'm glad that the demons in Imp City know not to mess with me.
As he continued walking, he started to hear some whimpering in the alley.
Echo: Huh? What was that?
Echo then took a detour to the alley to check out that whimpering.
Echo: (Looks around) I think that sound is coming from near that garbage bin.
When Echo turned around the corner, he saw a girl shivering. She had bruises all over her, she was bleeding from her head and had scratch marks.
Echo: Oh, geez. She's hurt pretty bad. I can't just leave her like this. I better bring her back to my place and patch her up.
Echo then carried her by his back and went back home.
A Few Hours Later...
The girl suddenly opened her eyes and found herself all patched up in a bed. Echo then came in to check up on her.
Echo: Oh, you're awake. I figured you would be resting now.
???: Wh-Where am I? A-And who are you?
Echo: Relax, I'm not gonna hurt you. I found you in the alley and took you back to my place.
???: Oh, but why?
Echo: You were badly injured. I can't just let a girl be left alone and scared for her life.
???: .......
Echo: But I think we should introduce ourselves. My name is Echo.
Vela: I..... I'm Vela.
Echo: Vela, huh? So why were you in the alleys, Vela?
Vela: .....
Echo: Okay then.....
Vela: Thanks for saving me by the way.
Echo: It's no big deal. (Gets some clothes out of a bag) I also got some clothes for you due to your clothes being ripped apart.
Vela grabbed the clothes from him and started changing underneath the blanket.
Vela: Hey, can I ask you a question?
Echo: Oh, and what would that be?
Vela: Why is a human like you doing here in Hell?
Echo: Um..... That's a long story. I'll tell you later.
Vela: Oh, okay.
Vela then got out of the blanket with her new outfit on.
