Lars POV:
I was on my shift at The Big Donut, scrolling on my phone when I heard a familiar voice. "Hi Lars!" Steven said walking inside. I ignored him for a minute, contemplating what to say, when I mutter out "Uhh.. yeah hi Steven..". 'Was that too bitchy?, too forward?' I thought. "How are you?" Steven asked staring at me, which caught me a little of guard. ".. I'm fine." I mumbled slightly flushed because of the sudden attention. 'I'm fine?! Ugh, why am I like this..' annoyed as I started bickering with myself. "Hmm are you sure?" The Rose Quarts said leaning over the counter towards me.
'OMG Steven please stop staring at me.. Why did I have to come to work today..ugh' He poked my face as I wasn't very attentive. Startled by the sudden touch a flung myself back a little. "I-I said I'm fine!" 'There I go again..' I sighed internally.
"Okay, if you say so-" Steven sadly replied, moving back off of the counter, 'What's it matter to him anyways..', "OooO, can I get a chocolate glazed donut please" Steven cooed. "..Uh-huh" I answered grabbing his order and placing the bag on the counter, before I could tell him the owed amount he slid the money on the counter "Keep the change" he winked at me. As I was putting the money away, I noticed he was still standing there.
S T A R I N G at me, "..You need sumn?.." I questioned embarrassed by the staring.
"Wanna hang out later?, Buck, Sour-Cream and Jenny will be there!" He said, '..Fuck ofc.... Whatever the cool kids will be there.. so I might as will..'. ".. Yeah sure ig.." Steven looked at me all Starry-eyed with a big smile, "Okay, See you at my place at 7pm!" The boy left. Leaving me with nothing but silence to accompany me, 'What the hell did I just get myself into...'
