The cold air was blowing yet warm noises was heard to celebrate the coming of another year. Fireworks lit up the sky, and screams was heard.
Two eyes met.
One was serious, yet the smile in his eyes seemed to dim the lights. One was warm, and for the viewer's eyes, for him, even the snow surrounding them seemed to melt because of how bright it was.
Two figures standing amidst the noises and lights, staring at each other in silence but it was never enough to hear each other's heartbeat. But in fact, two hearts are beating in sync - fast, loud and almost breath stopping.
For Axiel, he saw her smiled in glee. Beautiful as ever. She stride her walk towards him and reached his hands wrapped in gloves.
"Love, happy new year!"
For Quinn, she saw him look down. Eyes filled with appreciation, love, and other emotions that mixed with how overwhelmed he felt. His hands reached her waist, wrapping her in a tight and envelope her with heat. Her heart seemed to be touched because how can it also felt warm?
