HER HEAD WAS POUNDING.

She felt herself regain awareness to the things around her. But as the dizziness left her eyes, she didn't see the inside of the clock tower, she looked to be in a dirty alleyway. Her shirt was soaked with red and dirt. She looked down to her bleeding abdomen, the stab wound still as fresh as it was in the clock tower.

The clock tower.

She couldn't remember what mostly happened in the clock tower, she remember seeing Harry's face. His horrid and sickened look in his eyes, his sinister laugh stapled into her ears. The last face she'd clearly seen, other that the mask that hid the face of Peter Parker. She wiped away the fresh tears she produced.

She felt empty, like she didn't exist where she was, like there was a force taking her away by the minute. That was never a good sign.

She needed to find Peter.

She winced in a unbearable pain, holding her throbbing stomach as she limped away and out of the alleyway. Being met with a blinding lights of New York, she doesn't fail to notice the loud honking of cars, the big ads that rested on buildings. This looked like home.

"Julie?!"

A voice called, making Julie turn, watching as the person responsible ran to her. "Oh my gosh, are you alright?! Who hurt you?"

Julie couldn't speak, her words were ridden from her sore throat, all the screaming she did was responsible. She stuttered softly as she tried to find the words to greet this stranger, but she was cut off. "Oh my, we can't waste time asking questions. Come on, let's go patch you up." The woman grabbed her by her arm softly, leading her to her car. "When did you dye your hair? Wasn't it blonde last night?"

She furrowed her eyebrows at this, questioning that statement. She'd always been a natural brown.

She cursed herself silently, for letting herself get scooped up by a woman she never met. But it was either this, or she bled out to death.

This stranger knew her name. Nobody else did.

At least she thought...
