Peyton POV
"Are you kidding me? I've sold enough to pay off my debt, and now I'm out of here!" I exclaimed."You are a part of this life now, Peyton! You can just stop! This is your job now!" he complained.
"Shut up! You can't make me change my mind! I'm tired of feeling like a worthless piece of shit!" I replied in rage, and I stormed out of the dark, foggy room.
I then promised my self to never go back to that life.

"That will be $3.50, sir." I politely say to the elder man.
"Alrighty, here you go." he replies and hands me the money.
"Thank you for shopping with us!" I say with a fake smile.
As soon as he left I realized the store was empty and all to myself.
A smirk grew on my face.
I ran to the radio control room, and plugged my phone up to the speaker. I'm so tired of listening to this 80s music that's constantly playing in the store, so it's time to change it up a little bit with some Sia.
Chandelier starts, and I rock out to it by dancing singing, and not being bored for once.
The music drowns out my thoughts and emotions to the point I feel like I'm in a movie with my own sound track.
I end up closing my eyes and jumping around to the beat untill I here a familiar bell ring.
The door just opened.
My eyes dash to the door and I see a handsome guy standing there with confusion.
I give a quick smile and run to the control room and turn off my obnoxiously loud music and race back to the front counter.
When I had finally reached the counter I catch my breath, and contain my embarrassment when I spot the man look up at me.
I blush and look down.
Just my luck that a hot guy walks in on me doing something that's not considered sexy in any world that exists.
Oh god. He's walking over here...what do I say?
"Uh, nice dance moves." he said with a smile while setting his items on the counter.
"Oh wow, thanks? How long were you standing there?" I say with a worried smile.
"Not that long." he replied.
Liar.
"Well, that will be only $5.00." I say quickly so hopefully he'll leave and end my embarrassment.
He paid for the snacks and walked out of the store. But before closing the door, he looked at me and smiled.
