Y/N's POV:
It was getting late, and much to my surprise - I was already worn out from just spending a few hours at St Trinians. With less than an afternoon to settle in, both me and Annabelle had been victims of endless pranks and tricks the school girls came up with. I was just glad that I wouldn't be there for much longer, only three or four more weeks until I could go back home. Finally.

I unpacked my blanket and pillow from my suitcase and headed up to the roof - it was too loud in the dorms to sleep with all the first-years running around.
I placed my bedding in a spot in the shade, and sat on the roof ledge. "No sleep tonight then." I grumbled to the horizon.

"Giving up already Y/N?"

I turned round. "Wha-"

"Kelly Jones. I'm head girl." She held out a firm hand, which I shook cautiously. "You must be Y/N? Miss Fritton told me to look out for you."

She took a seat next to me, and glanced in my direction. I nodded slowly.

She carried on, pointing at my blanket in the corner, "Sleeping out here tonight are we?" She raised an eyebrow. I could feel myself slowly shrinking. God. This woman is intimidating.

An awkward silence filled the air. I could tell she was uncomfortable in my company. "It's just a bit too loud in there for my liking. With all the first-years and that." I mumbled quietly.

"Too loud, huh?" She questioned.

I could feel my cheeks burning red with embarrassment.

"Why don't you stay in my dorm ... just for tonight - since you're still settling in. It's quieter in there anyway." She gave me a comforting smile.

"Thanks.. but I'm fine. I think I'll just stay out here for tonight - gather my thoughts, you know?" I replied sheepishly. What's happened to me all of a sudden? I'm making a fool out of myself.

"Ok.." The head girl replied thoughtfully, "But if you're staying out here tonight - so will I. Head girl duties and all that."

I could tell she took her role seriously.
I laughed, "Alright then."
