January 16-19th

About week went by since the incident with the woman. Frederick in the mean time started his new job as a short term English IV teacher  at Lain City High School; the teacher before him was  on maternity leave. He was already four days  in his new job and became familiar with all his students quite quickly. Him being 24 years gave him the advantage of getting along with his youthful students rather well and quickly. The teenage girls of his classes simply adore him and were quick to offend him if anyone boy acted out.His high level of education gain respect his elder coworkers but a few were intimated by him; therefore, they didn't seem to like him much.

One of his student,a Juliet Mcgee, was never in class. He review her perfect attendance record and her tasteless grades; she was always in school but her grades were awful. He wonder if she was sick and asked her peers of her but they would all respond with a shrug. Apparently Juliet never spoke to anyone but her boyfriend.

January 20,Xxxx - Friday - 7:42am

Frederick was taking his usual attendance; casually calling out each student name, expecting them to respond with a here or present.

He finally landed on Juliet's name; "Juliet?"

"Here."

Frederick snaps his head up to see a sugar brown skin girl  with a arm raise in the air. Her long black curls was pulled up into messy bun, her thick glasses hid her eyes and she worn a Lain City yellow track suit.

Frederick smiles at her; melting all the young girls heart in the room heart.

" I'm glad you're joining us today Juliet. I'm Mr. Ricks, your new French teacher for the rest of the semester."

Juliet gave him a small smile and the thumbs up.

Frederick went back to calling out the rest of the attendance; everyone for once was here. When Frederick was done taking attendance he started to teach today's lesson of french irregular verbs. Each time he would look at the class as a whole, he would notice Juliet had her head down. Frederick left her alone thinking she was still recovering from some sort of illness. When the bell rung for 2nd period and all the students rushed out all except Juliet. She was still sleeping soundly.

Frederick walk over to her.

"Juliet? Juli?"

I wonder if I can call herJuli.

Juli stirred in her slumber but didn't lift her head.

Frederick then lightly shook her shoulder; she jolt right up. She rubs her eyes and quickly wipes away the drool off her desk.

Juli stretches and opens her mouth wide for a yawn. She looks at Frederick and her sparkling golden eyes widen.

"Shit."

Frederick heart skips a beat. There is no way. Frederick tired to find his words but nothing would come out.

"Aye, Juli, bae, you ready?" Calls a light skin boy with black short dreadlocks tied back.He worn green basket ball shorts with a white t-shirt and worn out black basket ball shoes; indicatig he came from gym.He had a black gym bag slung around on of his shoulders as he lean against the door frame with his arms cross.

Juli jump up from her seat and quickly gather her stuff and slams into her blue backpack. Her neon pink phone with a black shaped charm attached to it drops to the floor.

"Shit," Juli mummers under her voice. Frederick and Juli both reach for the phone. Juli snatches it off the ground first and slung her bag around her shoulder. She practically ran over the boy with dreadlocks.

The boy put his arm around Juli's neck and brings her close to him. Juli closes her eyes.He kisses her forehead before he kisses her lips.

The boy pulls back and looks at Juli.

"Where are your glasses?" He asks.

Frederick glances at Juli's desk and see her circular golden glasses on her desk. He stiffly picks it up and walks over to them. He was still in shock mode. He tried to hand the glasses to Juli but the boy snatches the glasses out of his hand.

Frederick looks at the boy as if there was something wrong with him; they both lock eyes. The boys eyes were burned into his.

"Joshua, let's go," said Julin as she began to tug on his arm.

Joshua broke their stare first and let Juli drag him out into the hallway. Fredrick watched as them go up till the point you could no longer see them amoung the other students.

After their disappearance, Frederick walked over to his desk and slumps down. He couldn't believe on of his students was a prositute; Juliet McGee was a prositute. He didn't know what to do with this information but he knew as a teacher he had to help her.

He thought about contacting her parents. No children are sensative. You must first speak with the child about the issue. He thought to himself.
He'll just have to talk to Juliet on Monday.
