I crashed into water, and the next thing I knew so people called Marines caught me. They had tried to question me, but I stayed quiet. The main guy seemed like he was lazy, but he was quite smart.

His wife, the head chef, would also feed me. They did their best to find often I would leave the cell and roam the place. Read books of devil fruits and Haki.

I wasn't going to see it, I had no reason to leave G-8. I was fed, and nobody bothered me. I could stay here till I finally died. Maybe this was my punishment for all I've done. I may have done it with good intentions, but I have many sins.

I'd do it all again, tho.

In the end, my little brother will be okay. He has Naruto in his corner. He also has Sakura, and she'll take good care of him. I wouldn't blame her if she stopped liking him. He was an ass to her.

Sirens start to go off. I wonder what is going on. Pirates? I don't know why, tho. There not much here other than stuff they got from pirate ships.

Unlike the other prisoners here, I could leave whenever I wanted. They have seen me leave my cell many times but come back. They would try to bribe me, but they were weak cowards that would only use me.

"Hello Red Cloud, I brought your dinner." Jessica, the commanders wife. She called me Red Cloud. She was very nice to me, I often cooked in her kitchen.

Once she found out she tried to recruit me but I had no will to do that. I wanted to learn some of her recipes to pass the time. She was very comforting, I talked to her about Sasuke and told her of Izumi.

"Thank you very much, Jessica. Did some idiots try to infiltrate this place?" I ask, eating f/f.

"Well, that what we don't know. Some say ghost ship, but I don't care. We are getting cooks today tho, we may have a competition with them. I could use some extra help, maybe?" I chuckled as she tried to threaten me with a glare. She smiled, knowing it would not work on me.

"I guess you should get going then to prepare?" I say finishing up my meal. She rolled he eye and picked up the plate in front of me. Leaving my cell, she closed the door and left the key in the lock. She sighs, I feel her eyes remain on me.

"Remember, you're always welcomed in my kitchen Red Cloud." She walks away, I look at my headband, tracing the village symbol and the place where I crossed it out.

I have a weird feeling about tomorrow. Putting my headband back on, I wonder the base. I see a boy with a straw hat, and I stop in my tracks. He was very obvious, almost getting caught. I pushed him behind me and told him to shush.

"Oh, it's just you, Red Cloud. I thought you were one of those ghosts." The marine says.

"Ghost?" If there were ghosts, the only reason they'd be here is because you all touched their treasures.

"Yeah, a ship came falling from the sky. Anyways, be on the look out the ghost might be pirates. Have a good night, Red Cloud." The boy sighs in release.

"I take it you're from the supposedly 'ghost ship'?" I say, I remember the comander. He said they were notorious pirates.

"No, I'm Monkey .D. Luffy and I'm gonna be king of the pirates." In that moment, I thought of Naruto. He had a big dream, and the pirate king was a big deal here, apparently. I chuckled and patted his head. My instincts took over when I did that.

"Well then, you should be looking for your crew. I hear being pirate king is a big deal and takes a while. Have fun, Luffy." I say, walking away.

"Wait for me," he whispers, shouts.
"You go any food, Red?" He asks, walking backward so he can look at me. I had some dango that I was originally going to eat, but his stomach said otherwise.
"Oooo, thank you, Red," He says, as he quickly stuffed the dango in his mouth.
