Roller coaster

Chapter 1

Emily's P.O.V.

I was laying on my bed being bored out of my mind when my phone started ringing. I checked the caller ID. It read "Teddy Bear".

"Hello." I said.

"Emily you are so going to freak out!" Melissa yelled, also known as teddy bear.

"Why, what happened?!?!?" I asked excited.

"Jayden broke up with Kellan. Now since your his best freind you have to give him a shoulder to cry on and fall madly in love!"

"I'm rolling my eyes right now, it's ever going to happen. Yeah sure I like him but he doesn't like me."

"Whatever."

"I have to go now. Bye Teddy Bear."

"Bye Ems." And then we hung up.

Then I got another phone call. I just anwsered it this time.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey Ems it's Kellan."

"Okay, Melissa told me about you and Jayden. Wanna come over and talk about it?"

"Yeah I'll be over in 20." He said and hung up.

Me, Kellan, and Melissa have been best friends after Kellan punched Peter in the face when he was making fun of Melissa. Kellan is is in the middle with his popularity, me and Melissa are too.

Kellan has brown hair with striking green eyes. Melissa has Black hair with scarlet red highlights, hazel eyes, and is a on the track team. Kellan is into baseball, while I sing and dance.

Melissa thinks me and Kellan are perfect for eachother, but there's a slight problem. He's in love with her. He only dated Jayden to make Melissa jelous. I over heard him talking to Jayden about the plan and thats how I know.

It's all too bizzare. Love has a mysterious way of life that I can't quite figure out yet. I guess I'll know when the time is right.

Ding Dong.

I hear tthe door bell. I go down stairs and am greeted at the door with a teary eyed Kellan. I go up on my tip toes and give him a bear hug.

"It's okay Kellan. I know that your plan didn't work but it's going to be alright. Come on." I say and go to make him a cup of tea.

I come back with two cups of tea and sit him and me on the couch.

"H-how did y-you know about the plan?" He asked a sad tone in his voice.

"I over heard you and Jayden talking, don't worry I didn't tell Melissa." I say calmly.

"It was supposed to work."

"Come on let's go to the tree house."

"But it's 11:47 P.M."

"But its also the weekend."

"Okay." He says getting up and heading outside. We climb the rope ladder and sit in a the chairs we put up there. "Did you hear the whole plan?"

"I only heard how to wanted to make Melissa jelous then I left because it wasn't my business."

"Thank god."

"What was the rest of the plan?"

"That's for me to know and for you never to find out."

"Please?" I ask giving my best puppy dog eyes.

"You'll have to catch me first." He then climbs down the ladder while I jump off it.
