We have reached Betazed and will be beaming down Admiral Kirk and Captain Spock to the surface for the conference. We will remain in orbit until the meeting is concluded and return them to starbase 25.
Captain's Personal Log, Stardate 7530.384
We have reached Betazoid with no further incident. Repairs have been all-but completed, and are expected to be finished today. Before we beam down the Admiral and Captain, we will have a conference of our own with a few select officers about the plan. I am choosing some of my most trusted officers for this mission, one of which being Ensign Zhiquitren, who is half Betazoid. She will be able to offer us much insight and perspective. The plan is to disguise them as Betazoids using Commander Rushim's temporary genetic modification process and have them pose as guards. They will infiltrate the guarded area around the cruiser and search the wreckage for the records of what the ship had been observing, and bring it back to The Revival for analysis. This information will be given to Admiral Kirk to bring to Starfleet. We will have to come up with some story as to how he obtained it, but... that is an issue for later. Once Starfleet has this information, they will do what they see fit to handle this situation, and it will be out of our hands. While Vulcans typically do not have faith, I do in this instance. In the Admiral and Captain. I have never once seen any of their plans fail, and I fail to see why this would be any difference. Following their lead, as I have done so many times before, would only be logical... and I am a being of logic. I know no other way than to trust them.
