Chapter 7 (party)

The next day
Jay's pov

I got ready to head to skylor's house. She had invited us to go at 6.30 p.m. Her house isn't far from mine so I walked.

When I arrived everyone was already there. "Jay! Come in. We can start playing truth or dare now" Skylor welcomed me.

We sat in a cycle and Nya started "If someone doesn't complete a dare or doesn't tell the truth, they will drink half a cup of juice. We don't want you drunk. Anyways Lloyd truth or dare?"

He thought "truth" and replied after a while.

"Alright uhmm... What is your biggest red flag?"

"I don't answer that thank you" he took a cup of juice and drunk it. "OK my turn, Cole truth or dare?"

"dare"

"dial a random number and when they pick up tell them you like them"

"haha bet." he opened his phone and dialed a number. When they picked it up he put it on speaker "hello?" the person said.

"hello Micheal. I have something I wanted to tell you for a long time now. I like you, I've liked you for 3 years, but I didn't want to tell you and ruin our friendship as I probably did now." we all tried not to laugh.

"I know this is awkward for you. Actually no. Forget it, like I didn't say anything." then he hang up and we all burst out laughing.

"wow Cole I could never think you had it in you" Kai said.

"me neither, but it was hilarious. I bet he was confused and I hope his name wasn't Micheal"

After some rounds it was Nya's turn to ask "Jay truth or dare?"

"dare"

"I dare you to call your crush and tell them you like them"

Then Nya leaned towards me to tell me something "Kai always turns off his phone when we are outside, you don't need to worry"

Then I got my phone out and found Kai's phone in my contacts. I phoned him but luckily it was as Nya had said. "seems like they have their phone off" I said.

Kai's pov

It was Jay's turn to ask someone and he pick Skylor. "Anyways Skylor, truth or dare?"

"Dare" she said quickly

"do the same, as mine wasn't really successful"

She called and then Nya's phone rang. Wait, if Nya's phone is not turned off then that means Jay didn't call her. I may have a chance after all.

"Hello my beloved girlfriend" Nya said

"When did you guys became a thing?" Zane asked.

"Yesterday that's why we delayed the party for today. We had a date." Skylor replied.

"that's great for you girls" Lloyd interfered.

After the party

We got back home with Nya and I put on a movie so we could watch. While she was making pop corns I opened my phone to see a phone call from Jay.
