Right now all of us were in the dining hall and getting ready for the selection.

Serenity and I shuffle between all the kids and I bump into one. I look at the kid and he looked at me.

It was the same brunette I saw in the train. My eyes lock with his and stay there for a few seconds.

He then gets dragged away from the crowd. I sigh and keep shuffling away. I did get a good glimpse of the brunette though.

Brown eyes, tall, nice face that's for sure. Serenity and I got closer to the stand and waited to call our names.

"Serenity weasley" Serena's face went blank and sat on the stool waiting. they placed the hat on her and we all stared.

"Gryffindor!" Serenity smiled and the Gryffindor table cheered. "Gaby potter" I looked up and took a step.

I sat on the stool and closed my eyes. "Hmm just like your legendary brother Harry Potter. Great kid and you will be one too" the hat said with its strong accent.

"Gryffindor!" I opened my eyes and I felt all the weight lifted off my shoulders. "Thank god" I took a deep breath then walked over to the table where everyone was cheering.

I smiled at everyone as I took a seat next to Serenity. "Shawn Mendes" I looked up at the stage and it was the same kid I bumped into. He is really cute.

"I know he is" Serenity winked. "Oh did I say that out loud?" I blushed and looked at him again.

Serenity nodded and we waited for his answer. "Gryffindor!" He got off the stool and smiles at everyone cheering. He took his seat next to me and looked over at me.

"Your Gaby Potter!" He smiled wide and took out his hand. "I'm shawn Mendes" He smiled goofily.

I chuckled and took his hand. "Nice to meet you, did any of your family members come to Hogwarts?" I said letting go. "Yeah, my cousin Hermione" He responded and running his hand through his hair.

"Didn't my brother know her?" I asked. "Yah they were the trio of Hogwarts she told me". "No way" I smiled. "You heard of Ron Weasley right?". "Yeah of course".

"Here's his sister Serenity" Serenity turned her head our direction once we mentioned her name. "I'm Serenity, nice to meet you" she smiles. "Shawn Mendes, nice to meet you too" he smiled back.

"Welcome to Hogwarts everyone! I am Dumbledore the head of this school and I am informing you your dorm leaders will be taking you to your rooms now" Dumbledore turned his gaze over to me and gave me a small wave.

I smiled and waved back. "You know Dumbledore?" Shawn asked ss I turned around. "Yeah, when your Harry Potter's sister, you can say I know more people than I should" I chuckled as he smiled and looked ,e over.

I blushed "Why are you doing that?". His head snapped back up. "Oh nothing your just really pretty" he realized what he just said and scratched the back of his head.

"I- ugh sorry I d-didn't mean" I cut him off. "It's alright, thanks by the way" I laughed and ruffles his hair.

Soon enough the dorm leaders came along and leaded us too our rooms which was separated from boys and girls, just like Harry said.

"Here are your dorms, you have to be back by curfew, you guys may visit each other when ever you want" the dorm leader said.

"And to finish it off, my name is Drew" he smiled. "Here are your dorms. Enjoy" he said letting everyone in.

I waved at Shawn as he entered the boys dorm as Serenity and I entered the girls. I looked around and smiled. "I'm here, finally" i said admiring everything around the room. I ran over to my bed and claimed it as mine as Serenity claimed the next to mine hers.

"This is it!" I smiled as I saw all our bags in the corner. "Let's get those before there is a whole frenzy between the girls. I nodded and collected out bags bringing them back.

"I can't wait to go shopping tomorrow with Hagrid" Serenity said unzipping her bag and bringing out some candy she packed from home.

"Me too!" I said bringing out my journal. Harry gave me this saying it was a magical journal. I asked him how it was magical and he said it would surprise me.

I flipped through the pages and all I saw was blank. "What's so special?" I whispered.

Serenity turned to me and saw it in my hands. "What's that?" I looked up and showed her the cover.

"It's a journal Harry game me and he said it was a magical. I don't know what's so magical about it, all the pages are blank" I shrugged.

"We'll find out" she smiled. "We'll?" I scrunched my eyebrows. "Yeah. You, Shawn, and i. Our older family members where the famous trio, why not be the next generation?" She smiled.

I smiled and nodded. "Alright"

Good thing is I was in the writing mood, so I might be updating a few of my books :).

Hope you guys will like this book because tbh I'm in love with Harry Potter books and hopefully this is atleast good.
