????'S POV
i opened my eyes, hearing the teacher calling my name out as i lifted my head up only to see ms. iori staring at me with an annoyed expression.
"please tell us the answer to question 1." she paused for a moment.
"nagi." she added.
i looked to the side, making eye contact with my seat mate, reo mikage.
reo discreetly pointed to the answer in his notebook. i looked back to the front and stood up. "the answer to question 1 is a." i groggily said.
ms. iori stares at me for a moment before replying, "correct, you may sit down." i nodded and sat down. as soon as i sit down, my seat mate immediately nudged my leg. he gives me a look.
i simply shrugged my shoulders.

after a few hours, the bells rings. it's lunch time, but we have training. training is a hassle. i immediately rushed out of the classroom to go to my usual spot, the stairs.
i pulled out my phone and tapped on one of the applications, a video game.
damn it, i pressed the wrong button.
GAME OVER. TRY YOUR LUCK AGAIN.
i groaned and just as i was about to play again, i hear footsteps coming this way. i looked up from my phone as a familiar girl passes by.
the familiar girl was [name] isagi. my friend's sister. we used to be close but now?
not as close as before.

the bell rings and lunch time is over. i sigh and put my phone in my pocket. i hurriedly made my way to class.
i stood in front of the classroom and was about to open the door when suddenly, someone bumped into my chest, hard.
i looked down and saw [name]. her nose is red.
huh? what a coincidence.
i held out my hand for her to take which she immediately accepted. i pulled her up from the ground.
i stared at [name] for a moment, noticing that her nose isn't red like before. maybe you should take her to the infirmary.
i spoke up, "you okay?"
"no." she replies.
the girl looks up at me, making eye contact with me. "is my face red?" my lips unconsciously curled into a small smile as i replied, "no. your nose isn't red anymore."
..
silence is in the air. (or love is in the air)
[name] averts her eyes from me as she looks to the side. "i should.. be going now. i have other books to deliver."
books? oh. ms. misaki must've asked her for a favour.
and with that, she sprinted away without looking back at me. i stared at her disappearing figure before entering class.
she's so cute. is what kept running through my mind.
as i took a seat, reo asks, "the hell took you so long?" "i had to finish the boss level."
