The sun was setting over Staten Island, casting a golden glow across the streets that Method man had known since he was a kid. The borough held all his memories, from running around with the Wu- Tang Clan to the quiet moments that defined who he was off stage. But there was one person who had been there through it all , someone who had seen him before the music ... his childhood best friend, Venus .
Venus had been a constant in his life. They met when they were just kids , playing in the park and from the moment on , they were inseparable. She was there when he got his first record deal , and she was there when he had his first heartbreak. They had always been close, but as the years went by , their bond deepened into something more profound, something neither of them could deny.
They started dating quietly, away from the public eye. Method man - real name Clifford smith wasn't one to broadcast his private life , and Venus was content with that. He hesitated for a moment , searching for the right words. "About us. About how much you've been there for a nigga , through everything. And how much I need you shorty."
Venus smiled , leaning in to kiss him. "I'll always be here , Cliff. You know that.."
He nodded, but his mind was already racing ahead , planning something that had been on his mind for months. He wanted to make sure she knew just how much she meant to him - how much he needed her in his life , not just as girlfriend but as his partner forever.
The next few weeks flew by as he secretly prepared for the perfect moment. He reached out to her family , making sure he had their blessing. He even talked to the rest of Wu - tang , who were like brothers to him , ensuring they were on board with the big day. They all knew how much Lisa meant to him , and they were thrilled at prospect of the two finally tying the knot.
