I shift my eyes toward the deli door and sigh walking towards it
"just forget it we were 10" I say to myself rolling my eyes "Can I just get a bag of potato chips and a coke please" I say smiling at the white lady slightly mugging me, rude.

"here" she says handing me my bag "thanks" I say turning around and walking out of the store

I still notice the three sitting there and immediately notice Notti, I bet u are waiting on a backstory or sum so I'll just explain.

Me and David had a thing when we were 10, Ik ik 10 years old a little weird but we were mature for our age, it was mostly just a friend relationship kind of thing, but we did like each other, Ethan was the mature one, he was like a brother basically my blood. Darrian was my bsf, we were super close as well, we all grew up together but then my dad died, and we couldn't support ourselves "me n mama" so we had to move.

yea kind of cocky, anyway back to the story, I walk over to the bench a little ways away from them, it's not that I don't want to see them, because I miss them terribly.

"NIGGA KEEP WALKING" ddot says yelling at this white man walking who apparently said something, I roll my eyes in a playful way smiling
Apparently, they saw me do that.

"Who you rolling your eyes at" ddot says mugging me and I turn my head to look at them
before I speak, I can see notti staring at me with wide eyes
of course notti has to be the first one to notice

"Mind your damn business Darrian" I say, SHIT I said his name
"tf you know my name nigga" he says tilting his head as dd looks up at me

"Just a guess" I say shrugging my shoulders as notti starts smiling.
ddot and dd are just sitting there with a mug Tryna figure out who tf I am.

"shes back" notti says smiling, dd and ddot turn to look at each other with a confused look.
"I should've known you'd be the first to remember I say. 

 ddot looks at me for a second squinting his eyes and starts screaming "AHAHAHHAHHHHHH AALIYAH" he says jumping up out of his chair and runs up to me jumping on me making me fall off the bench

Notti walks over helping the two up off the ground
"You remember Aaliyah dd c'mon" notti says turning to dd

"nah" dd says looking at his feet, Aaliyah doing the same

Dd infact did remember Aaliyah he remembered everything about her, he just didn't want to admit that he did at the time, he didn't want to seem soft which is stupid but wtv (he is infact soft).

Everyone gave each other their numbers dd did reluctantly.
"Text us later, we should catch up" notti says dapping her up and ddot grabbed her chips waving as they walked off.

dd looks back at Aaliyah with a soft look in his eyes, she was pretty he thought but then remembered crystal, so he turned back around walking with his head down.
