Sky: Children of the Light

Daylight Prairie

Ariving at the island, I see a lot of grass and flowers.
Everything looks bright and friendly.

Are those other people that I see?
There are grey figures sitting at a bench talking to each other.
Looking around, I see more people in the area. Some playing music instruments. Others are just talking or laying down on the grass.

I go up to one of the grey figures.

"Excuse me. I'm new here, could you maybe help me?"
The grey figure just stares at me not saying anything.
They slowly walked away.
How rude...

"ANYONE!?"
Some people turned their heads but ignored me. Are these even people?
2 grey figures holding hands came up to me and held out their candle infront of me.
I light them up and they came to life.
They weren't grey anymore but had an outfit and hair like me.
"Oh hi baby, you're just a moth how cute!"
"Ah, what?"
"Can we take her please!"
She begged the man
"Ugh... if the kid needs-"
"Yes please I need help!"
"Fine." He said rolling his eyes.
"Oh YESS!" The woman jumped
"Hello kid, my name is Sarah this is my man William. We are so glad to take you in the journey of Sky!"

"Oh waw, thanks both." I said happily.
S: "Starting off with some rules. We hold hands as much as possible so that we don't lose each other."
I nod understanding.
W:"You are in the second area, Daylight Prairie. Verry hard to pronounce but call it whatever u want. It's just a realm."
Sarah slightly punched William.

"And you are?" He asked while crossing his arms.

"I guess my name is Nini?" I say as I read a paper that is stuck on my wings.
Sarah comes behind me to see what I look at.
"Yep that's ur name card. Again, hello Nini, welcome to sky hehe."
She's so nice. She takes William's hand and takes mine softly.
Her hands are warm and smooth.
"Hang on tight." She winked.
William takes the lead and we fly into the clouds.

Hearing them cheering happily makes me smile and feel right at home.
We softly land in the grass a little further.
Looking up I can see the huge mountain.

"That kid is where ur going. Saving the world is right there."
She said while pointing up to it.
"Whoa..."
Butterflies block my view and fly around us.
Mesmerised by them I see William sitting down and looking at us from a distance.
"You're man is not much of words."
"Nope, but he's like that. He loves to observe." She said while a butterfly lands on her finger.

We smile to each other. She takes my hand and takes me to a cave where another glowing thing was that gave me wings.
"What's this called actually?"
I ask while I take the glowing figure.
"Winged lights. They give u power. See?"
She takes my Cape and shows the stars on them to me.
"So far, u collected 2. Good going."
"How many you have?"
She turned around and her cape had stars until the end of the Cape.
"HOLY!"
"125 I think."
"Jezus u have been here long."
"Yep. Collecting and recollecting, dear. That's important. But that's for later."
She takes my hand again and we return to William.
He takes her hand and leads us again.

We continued and saw 3 towers on little islands.
W: "Okay, exception. To make it go faster, we split up. Sarah right, me left you kid go middle."
William suggested.
We both nodded and letted go. We took our own paths and I flew to the tower.
I see blue dark plants covering up the candles that I have to light.
I light up my candle and burn the plants. The tower lights up and a bell was heard.
"I DID IT!" I yelled
"Good job kid. Come to me!" William said.
I flew over to him while he burns the plants and his bell rang.

"These blue plants are important. They block paths u might need. And they give u candles. Wich u can use to get clothing like mine but that's for when you-..."
"Hmm?"
"That's just for later."
I had a feeling he was going to say something else... but maybe I was wrong.
"Honey!? You're last!"
I see her nod in the distance and she lights up the tower.
The bell rang and I heard a sound.
"What's that...?"
William said nothing and slightly smirked.
In the distance I see a huge flying beast coming towards us

"Whoa... what is that!"
"Manta. There friendly to us. Comon." He flew up to the manta while Sarah flies to us and takes William's hand.
"We are flying a manta... WE ARE FLYING A MANTA!" I say exited.
Sarah laughed at me.
"First timers are so cute."
Flying up with the Manta towards the next temple.
"Already finished?" I asked
"Yep." William said siruesly.
"Thay was fast."
"Don't shout too early. It will get bigger soon."
I stare at him weirdly.
"Sorry."
Sarah rolls her eyes and takes my hand.
"Don't worry about him. He can be weird sometimes haha."
We all went into the temple and another statue was there.
"Ur going to meet one of my favourite Elders. I call him the Butterfly Elder."
"Oooo.... what's an Elder?"
I hear William slightly laughing.
"Elders are the gods. The old man that u met in Isle of Dawn. That's an Elder. The leader of the land, a god of the constelation."

"Ahhhh... okay, I can't wait to meet him."
She smiles happily while she lights the candles for me.
"We will wait right here."
I nod to them with a soft smile and got into the portal.

I see a big jar and the elder sleeping. He slightly wakes up to the light of my fire.
He stretches and looks at me.
He got slightly shocked and got down to look closer. Taking the fire softly into his hands while his outfit lights up.
He takes the fire and held it in his hands while he shook it slightly. He opened his hands slowly and created a butterfly.
The butterfly flies into the jar and releases a big group of butterflies.
The portal opens again to get out.
The butterflies guide me out while I laughed slightly because it tickles.
"U had fun?" Sarah asked while holding my hand.
"Yeah! He's so friendly!"
"Let's go!"
Using our voice the butterflies make us fly up to the exit to the next realm.
