Asymptotes

Summary

Asymptote- a line that continually approaches a given curve but does not meet it at any finite distance.

Suddenly, I say, "This is a supernova."

"A what?"

"This. Us."

"I'm still not fully comprehending how we relate to a supernova."

"A supernova is a star that suddenly increases greatly in brightness because of a catastrophic explosion that ejects most of its mass. We're burning much too bright to last. We simply cannot deny the laws of physics."

"Holden, the laws of astrophysics don't apply to us."

"Autumn, this isn't going to last."

"Stop."

"We're bound to explode."

Holden and Autumn slowly find their paths merging and universes colliding to create something they never even knew was possible.

Okay, so my inner physics/math nerd wouldn't shut up and I decided to start this story and so Finding Time is on hold. A lot of my ideas for that story worked better in this one so if you see increasing similarity and unoriginality, I greatly apologize hahaha, I'm going to edit Finding Time over the summer and I have a lot of this story already written so I'm excited. THERE ARE GOING TO BE WEEKLY UPDATES BC I LOVE THIS STORY AND I HAVE SOMEWHAT OF A DIRECTION AS TO WHERE IT IS GOING. The story's going to be written in dual points of view (Holden and Autumn), the odd numbers are holden and even are Autumn. Anyway, I hope you like it!
