CHAPTER 10

Hazel's pov:

I'm in Terrace looking for Alex and he's not here. Ric fooled me. I'll not believe him again.

I started to go back downstairs but suddenly.......

I saw him. He's crying hiding himself in the corner.

"ALEX?!" I shouted but not too loud.
Oh my God!! Why is he crying? I went towards Alex. He's breathing heavily and I couldn't control myself seeing him like this. I hugged him tightly.

He hugged me back and sobbing in my chest. He's in my arms for like 15 minutes.
And I didn't say anything. I was just rubbing his back comforting him.

I shouldn't think about this. Not in this situation but my mind doesn't corporate with me...
"He's such a baby." I thought.

After a long hug, I pulled myself to see his face. I cupped his cheeks and he's looking at me with his doe eyes.

Noooo....this isn't right.
What am I thinking? But as I cleared myself earlier that my mind doesn't corporate so here I am....

I made the first move. I lean forward to him and kissed him. It's not like a kiss. I just pressed my lips with his but....
He's shocked. I can't see him because my eyes are closed but I can feel him. His breathing stopped.

Wrong move.

I pull myself from that kiss but .....
Then he made up his mind because he leans in, grabbed my waist and kisses me again with even more conviction. He starts to move his lips...

I'm in love with him...

He pulls away and his eyes are full of regret. He shakes his head quickly and places his palms on my hands. I cover his hands with mine right when he says....
"I'm sorry."

He's going downstairs. He's ignoring me again!!!

"ALEX!!!" I shouted.

He turned.

"I LOVE YOU" I confessed.
I don't want his reply now. I know I love him so I said. And I didn't regret this. Even if it's ONE SIDED LOVE from my side, he deserves it. He deserves all the love in this world.

He looked shocked. He didn't move an inch from his place.

"I love you Alex!! I really do. You don't need to reply. It's just....."
"..... I wanted to say this to you."
"I wanted you to know this. That's all."

He came towards me. He's looking at me with sorry eyes.
"Hazel, I can't--"

"You don't? Or you can't?" I asked confused.

"I don't know. You--you are just making me crazy" He said shaking his head.
"You started this." He said while cupping my cheeks and then he pressed his lips into mine...

And we kissed like for eternity.

Alex's pov:

Emma and Hazel went back to their apartments. Ric and I are still in college.

I'm happy.
I don't know for how long but I'm really really happy this time.
And happiness is written on my face.

"What's going on? Brother!" Ric asked.

I blushed.
He fake coughed.

"I LOVE HER." I said looking down.

"Whom?"

"Hazel"

"Finally!!!!" He relaxed.

"Oh Hello there!!" I heard a familiar voice. And my smile disappeared.

Sophia...

"What're you guys talking about? Count me in." She said.
And we ignored her.

"Ric!! Can we have a privacy? You can go home." Sophia said to Ric.
Ric turned to me.
"It's okay!!" I said with my eyes.

We're alone. She's not saying anything. She's just wasting my time.

"I'm leaving." I finally said irritated.

"Alex!!" She said softly.
Her voice is like honey.

"I'm really sorry. Alex!!"

"Stop it!! Please. Atleast let me be happy now."

"Oh Alex!! I know I did wrong. But you're also no good. I know what you're doing now."
"I think I should tell her." She said smirking.

She can change her personality and expression in a second.

"Stay away from her!!" I warned her.

"You stay away from her. Yes, I cheated. But you're also a cheater. Why didn't you tell her the truth? Let me guess..."
".... she'll not accept you." She said laughing.

I ignored her. I couldn't say anything because she's right. Hazel is too good for me. I don't deserve her. She'll never accept the real me.

"Alex!! Look! I love you. I'll accept the real you. Hazel is innocent. We're perfect for each other. Don't you think same?" She said.

This is her trap. I shouldn't listen her. But she's right. She's always right. I don't deserve happiness.
I didn't reply. I left her there.

I was happy. I forgot for a moment that I don't deserve this after all the lies in my relationship with Hazel.

"zzzzz" my phone buzzed.

Hazel♡:
Alex!! I love you.

You're also a cheater.

She'll not accept you.

Hazel is innocent.

We're perfect for each other.

I shook my head. I read the text again.
I don't deserve her. Sophia is right.

I didn't reply her.

I'm really really happy. Finally!!!!
I turned on the music and started dancing....
I can't dance but I did

That's the dance of happiness.

I picked up my phone. And sent a message to Alex.

Me:
Alex!! I love you.

He didn't reply.

I checked my phone again after an hour.
Still didn't reply.

We're not dating. He didn't confess.

I was the one who confessed. He didn't reply "I love you too"..
