Third Person POV

Today was a new day. Something felt different for kai. She felt like something bad and good at the same time was coming her way, strangely enough she wasn't wrong. As the BAU agents walked in the facility where kai was being held, they passed the holding cell that she was in and tension in the building was as thick as ever. "Hello, nice to meet you. Im SSA hotchner and im here with my team to discuse the matter with a girl that's locked up here? If you could show me where she is that would be great."

As the team was being lead toward the interogation room the heard what seems to be a fight and struggle, so they ran to the commotion.

"Get off of me you weirdo i can walk by myself, perv!" There was a 'boy' screaming at a correctional officer. "Im SSA jenifer jereau but you can call me jj, i think we can handle this boy ourself if thats ok with you," jj offers with a smile. "Sorry i came as fast as i could it seems you have bumped into the person you'll be meeting with so ill leave you to it." Said the CO manager, as he walked away.

Kai's POVS

While i was getting harrased by a male officer, who might be gay because i look like a boy, not even a female. I guess ive always had a more masculine look and im not trans so what the fuck?

Anyway i saw a group of people that had on suits and badges and luckily they help this man get away from me, " what are you waiting for? A thank you? Nobody asked for your help." I grumbled at them. I didnt mean to come of as rude but Im not good at saying thank you. So i stood there with a red face while looking to the side. " N-no! but i guess were here to meet with you, i-i just think the g-gave the wrong descripiton on who you were. They said is was a female?" There was a boy with curly fluffy hair that came forward and started stammering like a nervous kid about to get in trouble.

"Yeah if you say so, i don't really care," who we're these people. They look a little funny, "so what do you want to know? Dont waste my time, i have to take my medication."

"Yeah um- sure right this way", as Kai was handcuffed she looked at the 'nervous boy with the fluffy hair', he looked like someone. Someone she lost years ago, through tout her early teen years."So state you name date of birth, etc". A man with broad shoulders and dark skin walked into the room.

"Kai stone, 1984, age 19, uhh- I don't know what you wanna know but I don't care so" Kai just sat there knowing why they were here she just didn't wanna give in. "So we'll start with what happened in your teenage years, with all the murders in stuff? This is serious stuff kid, so I need you to be honest with me."

"Duh I would be serious everybody knows I did it, especially the bastard that escaped." 'She was so blunt and she looks like she doesn't care!' The team all shared similar concerns, except for Reid he felt as this was someone from his past and when this boy said his name his suspicions were confirmed.

As More questions were thrown at Kai and no answer were received, the team started getting annoyed spencer had something to confess to the team.

"H-hey hey guys I have something to say to you guys," the team all turned around and looked at him with confusion, "I'm may be a hundred percent wrong and a hundred percent right but this person is a girl and I actually know her." Reid stop stammering and had a serious face. "Maybe I could try and talk to her." "Spence why didn't you tell us before?" "B-because I wasn't sure but know since her name was revealed I'm 80 percent certain!"

Spencer's pov

'I hope I'm right about this!"

As I walked in the room I could feel tension. My good it's harder to breathe in here. "Well if it isn't pretty boy." Kai was looking at the ceiling but I'm sure she could here me and see me out of her peripheral vision.

Kai's pov

'That boy again..., now that I look closely I can see it all too well.'

*Flashback

"Look Spencer I found this book I think you'll love." A 13 year old Kai with the biggest smile said, Kai had mad a new friend that didn't judge her for being herself. He knew she was a trouble maker and still stood by her side no matter what.

"Oh yeah? Let me see!" Spencer was still a little stammering 17 year old but that was because he was talking so fast that he jumbled his words. Spencer knew the age gap was weird but he didn't care, Kai had no one especially after her mom and sister...

"Hey you wanna know something Spencer? Your the best thing to ever happen to me and I hope we can keep this friendship going forever.

"I can't believe it's actually you man, Spence where did you go..." I broke down in tears when I noticed how many years have gone by especially after seeing his face, 'I finally found you...'
