It was Pablo's 18th birthday today.

I baked him a cake before the argument we had that day, but unfortunately Ferran ate it, saying he needed something to make him feel better after getting jump-scared by the fake spider under Pedri's polo shirt, where Gavi put it.

So I baked Pablo a new one, even though by my standards, he didn't deserve it.

Pedri, Ansu, Ferran, Lewa and Frenkie and I were all currently in Lewa's car, me holding the cake and the others planning on how to divert attention.

Ousmane was currently with Pablo, Xavi giving them pretend drills.

We arrived at their training camp and slunk through the halls, until coming out on the pitch. There was Gavi, running between the cones. I didn't notice how I stopped, tilting my head to get a better view of him.

"Alisa, ¿qué ocurre?" Frenkie turns around, looking at me quizzically.

(Alisa, what's wrong?)

"She just remembered that she put vinegar sauce instead of the vanilla syrup into his cake," Ferran says, clapping me on the back.

"Honestly, Pablo deserves that," Pedri says from the front of the group. I love that he understood me. I told him everything that went down in that closet, and he was a really good listener.

As we approached Pablo, Xavi and Ousmane, Xavi tapped Gavi on the shoulder. He turned around, and his jaw dropped as his eyes became round.

The others parted to reveal me holding the cake. As he walked towards me, I felt him constantly staring at me. The cake bitch. You're supposed to be staring at the cake.

Just before Pablo got to me, I handed the cake to Pedri, muttering a quick sorry and whipping out my phone to record, glad that I don't have to be that close to Pablo again.

He looked from me to Pedri, and when he saw Pedri looking at him with furrowed eyebrows, Pablo quickly put a smile on.

After everyone wished him a great season and a great year, I made everyone huddle up together to take one big Barcelona birthday picture, everyone ruffling Pablo's hair and putting their best smiles on. They all looked so happy, and I started smiling because who wouldn't?

Xavi gave everyone a three-day break, since they have been training hard every day and needed time to rest before the start of the new season in a couple of weeks. As soon as we arrived at the parking lot, everyone wished Pablo a final happy birthday and started towards their cars.

"¡Fiesta en la playa! ¿Quién esta viniendo?" Pedri yelled, and those who could started piling up in Ansu's car, since Pedri's was too small.

(Party at the beach! Who's coming?)

I sat at the front with Ansu, since I was his favorite, his words by the way, while the others complained that they were too squished. In the middle row, Pedri, Gavi, Frenkie and Mikky were sat next to each other, and in the back row, Ousmane, Raphina and Kounde. Oh yeah, and Ferran and Sira were in the trunk, doing god knows what. Ansu turned on "Yo No Sé" by Rvfv and Pablo Mas, knowing it was on of my current favorite songs. Ansu and I started singing, looking at each other when it was our favorite part. I turned around to look at Pedri, who had a smile on his face.

"Alisa, creo que deberías quedarte con el modelaje," he said while pursing his lips, trying to hide a laugh.

(Alisa, I think you should stick with modeling.)

"Vamos Pepi, no arruines el ambiente, canta con nosotros!" I teased him with my own smile.

(Come on Pepi, don't ruin the mood, sing with us!)
