Hola peeps.
This is the first time I am writing something other than my daily diaries so please be true in your views. This story is about a girl named Cindy and, I am not going to add any spice to make it more craving. Here we begin...
Poverty, is the main cause of sadness and gloominess amongst most of the Indians, and so was for her family. This was the time when she didn't even open her eyes to see the beautiful world. Her mom and dad got married at a very early age and you know the weirdest but the cutest thing she was aware of? They played 'Pitthu' ( A very popular outdoor game) on the very next day of their wedding. Anyways, their game turned more serious and she came into this world. This made it pretty obvious that she was their first GIRL child. According to her parents and others , she was very beautiful , wheatish, had big gloomy eyes. I was a healthy child. Her dad was the happiest person alive to have her. Most of them said, she resembled mom but that didn't bother him much. He would save money and take her to different photographers and get pictures clicked. Both of them would make a serious look. They were a big family. Even though, she was a pampered child but as we all are aware of , everything that looks like gold, aint really gold. She was beaten up for having troubling her elder cousins. But she was just a kid then, a mischievous one? NO. She was the most innocent child one could find at that time. Usually kids of that age would cry for milk. She used to cry for tea. Strange?
Na. But that made her outstand the others. She never felt lonely. She was always surrounded by people. Two years later, her younger sister came into life. Things were still not balanced. They were still below the poverty line. Her grandpa owned a bicycle which was as precious as his BMW would have been.
But with the birth of her sister, Alina, everything changed. Dad got promotion , they shifted from a backward area to a better society. They no longer had to wear used clothes. Yay, she had my own underwears with cartoons printed on them finally.
She was always ready to help and loved making new friends of all types. She had friends everywhere and all of them loved her. She started to believe that friends were another family. Her sister was more of a mumma girl. Always hiding beneath her sari. And she was totally the opposite. She loved schools and studies. Weird na?
Anways , this was just a brief about her childhood.
Schools went on , and so did life.
Then came the real tragedy. LOVE RELATIONSHIPS. Till her 5th grade, she couldn't even think of making a boyfriend. Like seriously, when she have so good friends to take care of her, what will ever urge her to make a bf? Well that was just in dreams, I broke all her rules and started dating her best friend, John, in the 6th grade itself. Although, she never really liked him more than a friend. Her friends used to pair us up so she thought, why not give it a try. Trust me, this was truly a mistake.
They stopped talking in front of others because he was not comfortable. After coming back from school , they used to talk over landline, ( Owning a phone at that time was like owning a real bullet gun and will make us anxious to kill anyone according to parents.). They just talked about Hannah Montana shows and some same shit. And then, they used to hang up the phone because OH MY GOD! the favourite show, That's so Raven is just about to get started. Baah! they were kids.
But this was not the end to the story. The real story began when John's best friend Alex, came into their life. He was a handsome looking , tall, fair guy with hazel eyes. Gosh!He asked her out on her 14th birthday. And that was like as if she had a basic doll and the Barbie is coming to her by itself. But she was obsessed with her doll so much that she was even ready to give up Barbie for it.
He warned her that in case she doesn't leaves John, he will break off John's leg and at the same time, he told John, that he was just pulling her leg. By doing this, he put himself on the safer side. John took all this very lightly but for her, it was not really a small issue, duh! She din't want a bf without legs.
Gradually , she started talking to Alex over phone. Alex was a sports person. He played lawn tennis so he hardly used to attend school at that time. As time passed by, she started realising that she never really liked John, and that, Alex loved her more than John.
Alex was suffering through Jaundice and it was Cindy's birthday time. Yet , he came in the evening and did the most amazing thing. Something a girl would always want. Not expensive gifts. Not a marriage proposal. She was not even legal yet. He made a big heart almost covering half court of a basketball court, made out of my favourite rose petals and he asked her to light the candles that he kept near the corners of the heart. His home was 30 minutes from her place. But you know what she did? She just sent him back because for her, it was a very big thing and she just didn't know how to react. No doubt she was feeling way too special. But at back of her mind, she knew she had a boyfriend.
She just couldn't do anything than to send him back home. In the end, he just said, I wanted to make you smile. My mission is successful. Wow. Who wouldn't like to have a guy like him in her life? But she felt unlucky because there was more to come. John was totally out of her mind. He didn't bother to contact her on her birthday because he was so much busy in his Hannah Montana thingy. This brought her more closer to Alex, coincidently. He understood everything that she wanted. He was the same guy she hated, and gradually, she was falling in love with him.
Her feelings for him became more intense. It was just the time when she finally decided of telling Alex about her feelings and a the thought that she already had a boyfriend hit her. What would she do next? Accept Alex or stay with John?
