A letter for Lou,

Darling we're not fooling anyone.
It's clear to see by looking in your eyes that are glued on me.
Don't you think they notice that with you I can't focus?
When I catch your admiring stare don't you think they can see the shining smile that becomes of me?
We're charges that entrance each other's qualities.
We're blue and green.
We can't hide in the dark.
I want to love you;
I need to love you.
I think they see our little touches;
I know they're small, but they're huge to me.
A firework shock that shoots through our contact to the pit of my stomach.
Don't you think they notice me blush when I feel this?
Don't you think they see you squirm when I do this?
Maybe not, but I fearfully hope they do.
We were told to hide, you and I;
But, I don't want to.
In the streets, I want to hold you.
In the car, I want to hug you.
In the bar, I want to kiss you.
Don't you think they notice that I do?
We were pushed into darkness and tied to the ground;
Unable to walk or make a sound.
I can't seem to not need to need you.
But, we're tied down.
I can't sing along with you;
For you're kissable mouth they have glued.
I can't sit with you;
We're told not to.
I want to be with you in the car, and see the way home with you;
Not be punched back and dragged somewhere else.
Don't you think they notice you turn around for me?
Don't you think they see me get pulled away to a different car, and sat in a different seat?
We're a strong pull of opposite charges,
Yet they use their strengths to pull us apart.
I want to connect with you.
I crave to be truthful and open.
Don't they see that we want to be free?
Please.
Help me.
Let them see.
Let them destroy those who dragged us under.
Let them damage who drowned us.
Who stole our voices underwater where no one could see.
Where they ripped us from each other;
Where they made us bleed.
Let them see.
What we were forced to was wrong.
Darling, we were far too young.
I hope they see what we mean in our tattoos.
I hope they see how I feel when I look at you.
You, my beautiful blue.
I want them to hear our soft spoken words,
I want them to hear our intentions in our songs.
Do you think they notice these things?
They keep bringing us up,
I think they do.
But, it breaks me;
When they bring it up, I can't say it's you.
But, it is you.
It's always been you.
It's you who makes me blush with your touches.
You who makes me squirm under your admiring gaze.
You make me laugh with your jokes, and your strongly childish character.
It's you that unintentionally makes me admire how brave you are.
You're the the one who makes me melt when I see your sunshine smile.
It's to you that I would walk a million miles.
You're the one who makes me feel fuzzy when you hold a baby.
You, Lou.
I don't care what they'll do.
I have to be honest;
I need to be true.
It's you.
It's you that I fell in love with.
You who made me fall more than once.
I unapologetically fall madly in love with you everyday, and I always will;
Even when we're grey.
I love you.
I hope they notice, I need them to see.
The right one to love you is me.
The perfect one to love me will always be you.
I love you, Lou.
Maybe they'll see that I do.

                 All the love, from yours truly,
