"i don't really know about this, yuqi," miyeon mumbles nervously as she stares at the sugar baby profile her best friend just made for her, "i know i need money for my college fees...but is this really the best way to get it?"
"your part-time job at the coffeeshop isn't making the cut, right?" yuqi argues insistently as she waves the screen spotlighting the suggestive profile in miyeon's face as the nineteen-year-old korean blushes at the sight of her profile picture ── a mirror selfie yuqi dug from the deeps of miyeon's gallery, where miyeon was clad in nothing but baby pink lingerie. "if you've got it, flaunt it," yuqi teases playfully when miyeon can't find her voice, "if your cute ass gets you the bag, what's the big deal?"
"anyone who ever dates me in the future will dump me when they find out i was a potential sugar baby?" miyeon exclaims in embarrassment as she pushes the phone out of her sight, "delete it, i can't do this!"
"really? you're getting loads of hits, so many people love your profile," yuqi replies nonchalantly as miyeon quickly tugs the phone out of yuqi's hand and into hers. "lots of men seem to think you're cute...must be the doe eyes and the whole princess thing," yuqi laughs as she peers at the glaring phone screen over miyeon's shoulder as miyeon scrolls disinterestedly past the profiles of men old enough to be her father, "maybe there's a filter that can filter their gender? so at least you only get hot girls checking out your profile."
"shouldn't you have sorted out the logistics beforehand?"
"hey! i'm not a sugar baby prospect," yuqi refutes simply as she snatches miyeon's phone back and taps away before smirking confidently, "here, now it's set so other users know you're only looking for a mommy, darling."
"what even makes you think this'll work? what are the odds some random rich lady even wants a struggling college kid as her sugar baby?"
"don't sell yourself short, mi," yuqi offers supportively, "you're cute and you've got your whole angel act going, mommies would go on a power trip just seeing you."
"what do you mean?" miyeon protests innocently, "i don't even know what you mean. i don't even know what i need to do!"
"just interact with these human moneybags and clear your debt," yuqi advises succinctly, "make them realise your company is worth paying for."
