"ŤĤƏ ẄØŘŁĐ ŤÜŘŇƏĐ ÜP§ÏĐƏ ĐØẄŊ"
The earth beneath us starts to crumble, everywhere shaking. I start to hear terrified souls, child-like screams, and horror-filled shrieks. the sky turns an ombre from an orangish red to a deep scarlet. The stream separating us slowly turns to lava and starts to morph. The liquid rises and starts to dance in this beautiful but fearful way. It then surrounds me, enclosing me in this dome-like fire. A burning gate rises from the ground with six other shadows. They try to take me away while I struggle when 'My Love' says something in a language I cannot comprehend. they all turn white with accents of gold on them like little droplets. They let go and disappear and everywhere goes back to normal except this time 'My Love' has a solemn expression on his face. I scan his facial expression as he does mine and ask him what the matter is. He doesn't reply but only hushes me and pulls me close. All I remember is his scent. Floral yet burnt but in a good way.
"Remember love, don't lose yourself looking for me."
I wake up with a cold sweat. What the hell? What was that? Who was that? I turn to look at my mom, who's using her phone, probably monitoring other old ladies' socials. 'Maybe I could ask her, she knows a lot about dreams'. Whatever, It's worth a shot.
"Eomma, I had this really weird dream about some guy, and like fire and earthquakes and being captured but then not being captured and it was like really weird and like--" I sigh worriedly and look at her instantly annoyed by her facial expression. This woman is so - Oh my Lord. "Y/N, I know you don't want to see Seokjin, but pretending you had a nightmare won't make me take you back home" She looks me up and down and sighs before taking my head in her hands. "I love you, Y/N, but you need to learn how to be less - how do I put it? Selfish. " She then lets go and adjusts her sitting position.
"Mom, what - no! I mean - I'm not self - whatever" God! My mom can be so irritating! I mean I love her, but what the fuck? I decide to confide in her because I want to try being the admirable child, she's always wanted in the name of being a good daughter and bro just-- whatever.

"Seokjin-ah! Are you ready?"
"Eomma, calm down. I promised I wouldn't come late."
I ended the call before she could continue. If I left it, she'd be ranting on why it's so unprofessional to be late to meetings--in her words; 'formal or casual'. I was late anyway. The get-together is at 12 A.M. and it's 11. I'm such an unorganised man, Christ.
As I'm buttoning my shirt, I can't help but still feel horrible about what I agreed to yesterday. 'Was all this guilt worth it?' I thought. Of course, it wasn't. I can't go through with this. I'm calling it off.
I grab my phone to call Yoongi.
Ring...
Ring...
Ri-"Hello? Jin-hyung?"
"Yoongi-ah, I'm calling it off. We are not selling her to anyone." I say authoritatively. I'm supposed to be the older brother, and I can't let them do this to themselves. If anyone were to find out, they'd be destroyed.
"H-huh? B-but-"
"I'll stop by around 4 or 5 to talk with the rest. Take care."
I say and end the call. I put on my light brown slacks and sandals and tucked in one side of my shirt. I grab my keys and wallet and walk to my car.At the venue...
"Eomma,"
He walked over to his mother, stylishly taking in the beauty of the scenery around him.
The way the architecture of the site blended with the nature encompassing it. Almost as if cherry blossom petals were flowing around him, circling and leaving him awestruck. Looking up, He sees the tiny flower nymphs and fairies up in the trees and waving at him. He waves back and continues walking over to those waiting for him.
Mrs. Lee and his mother watched him walk over to them excitedly. Flashing them a soft smile, he quickened his pace.
"Eomma," He repeated, bowing slightly, as she pulled her son into a welcoming embrace, not wanting to let him go. He chuckled lightly at her antics. "M-ma, I still need to greet Mrs. Lee-" He pulls away smiling softly. "Right, of course." She chuckled and adjusted Seokjin's barely rumpled shirt.
"Mrs. Lee, nice to see you again. Might I add, you look even more beautiful since the last time I saw you." He added, for good measure, of course. He always tried and managed to look and act admirable and 'perfect' in a way. Y/N scoffed as her mother greeted and exchanged pleasantries with Seokjin. They all turned to face her. Both Kims smiling nervously, and her mother giving her pleading eyes.
"Y/N," He bowed and stuck out his hand for her to shake.
"Seokjin," She bowed as well, maintaining her stoic expression.
As their hands met, a wave of shock travelled through their nerves, causing their eyes to widen and their vision to blur.
In her eyes, a warm-toned schemed scape clouded her sight. Everything she saw looked like clumps of fire but gave a very welcoming feel. The atmosphere was getting warm, hot even and her vision began to waver. Her body felt like it was boiling, almost melting off of her bones making her drop her crutches. Too extreme. Flakes of ash and fiery red plasma encircled her in a beautiful dance. They fall in a pile far away from her, revealing a tranquil-looking Seokjin, fiery like danger, in front of her. She scowled.
In his eyes, the landscape was icy, with a hostile aura. The temperature was quite harsh and unforgiving, cold like the home of the dead. He felt dead. Like he was trapped in the underworld with no escape. All these feelings, nonetheless, did not faze him. It was new to him; however, he enjoyed it. He enjoyed the feeling of death. The snowflakes fell in a pile, sculpting a dazed and confused Y/n, pale as a plague, in front of him.
The shock had now coursed through every fiber in their bodies, making them jolt and let go of each other. It was almost insignificant as both mothers continued on with their banter, leaving the two to themselves.
Y/n looked stunned, but returned the previous scowl on her face, whilst Seokjin retained his gorgeous million-dollar smile. "It's been a while, hasn't it?" He smirked, taking her hand and leading her away further into the park and away from their mothers.
"Two weeks, Seokjin-ssi." She scoffed, yanking her hand away from him and taking quicker swings to distance them.
''Time flies by quickly. Besides, who's counting?" He catches up to her and grips her forehand, numbing it with his powers and turns her around to face him.
"Look, I know you despise me, your presence is annoying as well, but whether you like it or not, we're going to have to put up with ourselves for at least, two months." His expression hardens, painting his aura stern and authoritative.
"I'm going to agree to be civil, but I will not be engaging in any unnecessary small talk and or conversations. Now let go of my fucking arm." She grimaced, trying to hide the wince of the force of the grip on her forearm. He intentionally numbed the effect of his powers on her arm, seeing as her body was quite weak still from the incident, but the pressure of his grip was enough to make muscles ache.
"R-right, sorry..."
They both avoid the topic of their visions, mainly because Y/n was on rest from using her powers so none of both knew if the other saw anything out of the ordinary.
