the boy lay in bed, his body racked with fever. He felt weak and fragile, his limbs heavy and unresponsive. his breathing was shallow and labored, and his skin was damp with sweat. despite the discomfort and pain, he was resting. his eyes were closed, and his body was still. the room was quiet, except for the occasional creak of the bed or the soft rustle of the curtains in the breeze. hanbin sat beside him, watching over him with a worried expression. he had been up all night, tending to his needs and monitoring his condition. he knew that he was in good hands, but he couldn't help feeling anxious and helpless. he prayed that he would recover soon and return to his lively and energetic self.

"is he okay now?" the woman's face was filled with concern as she questioned her son.

"he looks better...", the boy breathed a sigh of relief.

"son you should sleep as well, i know you're worried about him but you are so tired", she says smiling abit as she reached to hug hanbin.

"mom..."

"hm?"

"how's everything? it's been years, is everything okay in the kingdom?" hanbin questioned looking anxious.

the woman giggled, "everyone's missing their prince hanbin. ever since you went... we only hoped for you to bring prince hao along with you and now that you two are here... it feels so good! it's like a blessing... I missed you so much..."

"i just wanted to do whatever his father told me. he knew about hao's awful mother's true intentions. his mother seperated us, that's why he doesn't remember me, nor any other one from our kingdom", hanbin smiles sadly, his eyes still on the sleeping boy.

years ago when zhang hao and hanbin were young, they used to meet alot. their family used to be very close. even hanbin's mother loved zhang hao too much and deep down she wanted her son to get married to zhang hao as the two looked so happy together even though they were just children. but soon zhang hao's mother started acting up and his father's health wasn't proper either so the two families couldn't meet eachother.

zhang hao's father had been unwell for several years, struggling with a chronic illness that left him feeling weak and exhausted. he had seen countless doctors and specialists, tried every treatment and medication available, but nothing seemed to help. he spent most of his days at the palace with hao, resting and trying to manage their symptoms as best he could. despite the constant pain and discomfort, he remained hopeful and determined, refusing to give up. one day he decided to meet prince hanbin secretly.
