She had known Conrad and Jeremiah her whole life. she practically lived there, susannah was her second mom, she loved her so much. Daniella wouldn't know what to do if she didn't have susannah. one day when she was younger she was introduced to Bella, Steven and Laurel. Even though daniella was older they all clicked super fast like she had known them just as long as the fishers. they would all call her dani for short it was just easier. She loved them all deeply and she would do anything for them.
Conrad was her best friend, she loved him with her everything. He was there for her when her mom passed, he would sleep on the floor making sure she didn't have nightmares or wake up screaming. He would sit and talk with her about everything, listen to her when she cried hugging her comforting her making sure she didn't miss anything. A night her and Conrad had been on the beach for hours, she looked up to the sky and saw fireflies, she couldn't stop crying and smiling. She felt like it was a sign from her mom, Conrad was happy to share that moment with her. The days after that beach night he had bought her a necklace with a firefly on from that day she had never taken it off. The months after she lost her mom she realized she had feeling for Conrad but she never told anyone especially not Conrad. She couldn't tell her best friend she had feelings for him right?
Jeremiah was like her little brother, she truly enjoyed being with him and his company, he would always make her laugh. He would often take her for ice cream when she was sad about her mom. She was very thankful to him.
Susannah was her second mom especially when her real mom had passed, susannah took her in and helped her find a place to stay and would always check up on her, cooking for her and celebrating birthdays. she would invite her to the smallest things even if it was just dinner. Susannah loved daniella, she was her daughter and she would do everything in her power to make sure she would always be happy.
Steven was a really good friend they would often play video games together, he would always yell at her to play it right and they would fall on the floor laughing when they were talking. they could never keep a serious topic without flat out laughing. she adored him and would always give him advice.
Laurel was a sweetheart, she would always make the most delicious meals for them all, Daniella would often give Laurel ideas for her books, she loved reading and had so many different ideas and dreams she wanted to write down.
Belly was definitely the sister Daniella never had every single time they were together they would dance and sing to taylor swift, talk shit about the guys and they loved dressing up, Bella often looked up to Daniella as she was a bit older, they would do each other's makeup and laugh their brains out at the smallest things. When daniella found out Steven was being mean to Belly she would always make him pay, once she glued his hands to his face, and she also loved making him mad by waking him up with marker all over his face.
Daniella loved these people with everything in her, and she was excited to be back in cousins. she hoped that this summer would be different from all the last ones, maybe even tell Conrad about her feelings for him?
