In the middle of class, Kai was daydreaming like every other day, asking himself why he has not yet dropped out of school. He knew he was not learning anything new and that the lessons were a waste of time.
He was sure that he could find better things to do with his time than to sit in a classroom and listen to the teacher.
After his friend randomly knocked him down, he felt like he was staring out at the quiet kid in class for a while before he trying to look away.After he had been staring at him for a few seconds, he tought" he was actually quite cute."
As he spanned his attention back to the teacher, he heard her speak about a project she was working on. He sighed in disappointment because he was not interested in the project and was about to ask if she could explain it in more detail but thought better of it.
He quickly checked his phone to see if he had any new messages before putting it away and trying to pay attention to the teacher.Then out of nowhere he heard his teacher say "Bryson Potts and Kai cenat yall workin on this project together" Bryson and Kai glanced at each other, both of them internally groaning.
Bryson reluctantly nodded in agreement, knowing that he had no other choice. Kai smiled weakly in response, silently determined to make the best of the situation.

When the bell rang kai was kinda nervous to ask bryson if he wanted to start the project today and at which house would they get it done. Bryson hesitated for a moment and then said that he was free to work on it today. They decided to start at Kai's house as it was closer.
They quickly got to work on the project.One thing kai noticed is how quiet bryson like he didn't say a word walking to kai's house Kai tried to make small talk but Bryson seemed uninterested. However, when they got to the house and started working, Bryson seemed more focused and engaged. He was full of ideas and suggestions as they got to work.
Even then he still had a quiet aura to him he has a low voice not making it any better. Bryson had a knack for figuring things out quickly, and his solutions were always creative and effective.
Kai was impressed by his work ethic and dedication to the task at hand. It was evident that when Bryson was focused on a task, he was a force to be reckoned with.
That made kai want to know get to know bryson but his toughts were cute short when bryson had to get home since it was getting dark outside Kai decided to ask Bryson for his contact details so they could talk later.
Bryson quietly agreed and gave Kai his number. Kai was excited to get to know Bryson better and couldn't stop thinking about it all night.
