you received a surprise text from your boyfriend, notifying you that he would be picking you up for a special date night. the spontaneity of these moments always filled you with joy, knowing he had put effort into planning something just for you. as you slipped on the designer heels he had gifted you for your birthday, your phone buzzed with his message: "i'm outside, bae." you quickly read the text, tucked your phone in your purse, grabbed your wallet and keys, and headed out the door.

tyler's car waited outside, and you greeted him with excitement, "hi, baby." he returned your affection with a hug, admiring your appearance and complimenting your scent.

with the music playing softly in the background, tyler drove, resting his arm on your thigh. the destination remained a mystery, as he insisted on keeping it a surprise.

finally, you arrived, and  the restaurant happened to be the one you had wanted to try, though its expense had kept you away.

" ain't this the place i was telling you about?"tyler chuckled and confirmed it, and you felt a mixture of excitement and gratitude. "thank you baeee" as after you both stepped out the car, you placed around twenty pecks on his cheek.

as you sat together at the elegant restaurant, anticipating the amazing food, a brief interruption occurred. the server, seemingly captivated by your beauty, couldn't help but flirt with you, throwing glances your way. tyler, sensing the server's advances, grew increasingly irritated.

"i would like to order the lobster pasta." you said, looking at tyler, waiting to hear his food of choice.

"a beautiful dish for a beautiful lady." the waiter said with a bright smile. you look up at the man with a flustered smile, "...thank you...?"

'now how is lobster beautiful...? does this man think i'm fishy???' you thought to yourself

tyler's expression darkened, his protectiveness kicked in, he could not allow anyone to disrespect the special evening he had planned for the two of you. in a low, firm voice, he addressed the server with a tone of warning, expressing his clear disapproval of their actions.

"imma need yo ugly ass to take our orders and move the fuck along foe i get yo ass fired."

'not him being a karen...' you thought, trying sooo hard not to ugly laugh.

tyler firmly put the server in their place, defending you and asserting his role as your partner. the server, taken aback and realizing their mistake, promptly retreated, their flirtations extinguished by tyler's words.

as the server scurried away, the atmosphere at the table regained its warmth and intimacy. tyler's gaze locked onto yours, his eyes filled with a mix of protectiveness and love. in that moment, you could feel the depth of his devotion, his commitment to ensuring your happiness and comfort.
