Alexia and Alecia Aydelotte were perfectly fine. If you saw them out in the street or on Diagon Alley, you'd think they were just ordinary twin sisters with hyper-activity surging through their veins and innocence dwelling on their shoulders. But looking deeper you'd know that wasn't the case. Alexia (Alex) and Alecia (Alice) were suffering from deep bouts of depression. Their mother an avid drunk and their father merlin-knows-where. They had eachother to take care of, but at twelve years old, that was a lot to handle.

The two girls were very different (look on the information page for each character) from each other, but they loved each other the same. People who had known both their parents when they were young had said Alex was more like their mother while Alice was most like their father in both looks and personality. But they couldn't be sure. They'd never met their father, and their mother Maya refused to speak about him,..

"Alex!" Alecia said, "Our letters are here." She placed Alexia'sletter on the table, and proceded to open her own. Alex appeared beside her twin sister, and tore open her letter, reading it in the same posture as her sister. It was the usual letter from Hogwarts. A list of the Books they would need and equipment required for their second year in wizarding education. Although something quite peculiar was written on the bottom.

'Due to the Escapee, Sirius Black, Parents and Students are reminded to be extremly precationary when travelling to Diagon Alley and anywhere alone, therefore Students will need to be acompanied by an Adult to the Hogwarts Express.'

Alecia rolled her eyes. There was no way she would be taking her mother to Diagon Alley and Kings Cross. They'd be fine on their own. Plus, Their mother didn't care less what happened to her daughters. Yes, she loved them. But she was trying her hardest to get over her ex-fiance. The father to her twin daughters. He must have done something bad, they thought. Otherwise mum'd be the best in the world. But that's just how it was meant to be i guess...

Three days later, Alecia and Alexia left the safety of their home in Godric's Hollow and travel by Floo Powder to Diagon Alley and bought their supplies before leaving Diagon Alley and travelled the long journey back home.

When they got home, their mother hadn't even noticed they'd gone and Alecia sulked off to her bedroom, Alexia close behind her. Both girls didn't want to be at home right now. Not when their mum was getting drunk with her friends. The twins wanted to leave now. But they couldn't, could they?
