Helping a Stranger

As the group approached the injured person, they could see that they were in bad shape. The person was covered in scratches and bite marks, and their breathing was shallow. Christie used her artistic skills to fashion a makeshift bandage for the person's wounds while Ruby and Noah kept watch for any signs of danger. Liam searched the area for any clues as to what could have attacked the person, but he found nothing. As they worked, they could hear strange noises coming from the woods around them, and their fear grew with each passing moment. Finally, they managed to stabilize the person and get them to safety, but they knew that they had to be extra cautious on their way back. The group walked quickly, keeping their eyes peeled for any signs of danger. When they finally emerged from the woods, they were relieved to be back in the safety of their town. They knew that they had been lucky to make it out alive and that they would never forget the horrors they had faced in the woods that day. Christie says "I can't believe we made it out of there alive. That was the scariest thing I've ever experienced." Noah feeling slightly relieved about having helped says "I know what you mean. I'm just glad we were able to help that person." Still slightly worried which Ruby voices "Do you think they'll be okay? I'm worried about them."
Not completely sure on how to answer Ruby's question, Liam says "It's hard to say. They were badly hurt, but at least we got them to safety."
Christie says "I just can't stop thinking about what could have happened if we hadn't found them." Knowing exactly how Christie feels about it Noah says "Yeah, we were lucky. But we need to figure out what attacked that person. We can't just leave it out there." Still worried Ruby asks "What if it's still out there? What if it comes after us?" Wanting to know and getting slightly more scared but acting like he's not Liam says "We'll have to be careful. But we can't just ignore this. We need to find out what's going on." Not wanting to argue Christie says "I agree. We can't let this go. We need to figure out what happened in those woods."
