"Look what he said" -Keira says showing mason the dms

"So it's a date?" -he says scrolling through the messages

"Not really just a catch up"

"Basically a date"

"Why are you so annoyed you should be happy"

"I am happy for you, see im happy" -mason says putting on a fake smile

"Could you drop me off?"

"Fine what time"

"6:20 to get there for 6:30"

"Okay"

*Keira's pov*

I get upstairs and find a outfit then do my makeup.
I was looking forward into meeting him again as the last time I did was 3 years ago back in Brazil when he came over to race.
I don't watch much f1 but I know about since masons into it.
Mason was dropping me but he seemed annoyed at me for some reason but it's not like he has a crush on me?

Finally finished my hair and it was 6:08 so it was about leaving time.
Lando texted me saying he's in his way and I said so am I.
I did one last look in the mirror before grabbing my phone and jacket.

"MASON IM DONE"- I shout from the bottom of the stairs

I walked down the stairs

"Ok let's go"- mason said ignoring eye contact.

The car drive was quiet something that never happens.

"You okay" -I say

"Yeah just tired from training and stuff so" -he said

"Oh right"

"Bye, thanks for the ride"- I say getting out

"Have fun"- mason says as she closes the door and waves through the window

"I guess"- was his last words.

"Hey it's good to see you again" - Lando says as I walk up to him and give him a hug

"And you, you look so different from the last time I saw you"

"So how's you and mason going"- he says talking a sip of his drink.

"Good it's great I'm glad to be home, how's racing?

"I love it, you and Mason should come over one time"

"We'd love too, just let us know"

"Tonight was really nice, thank you so much" -I said as we walked out of the restaurant to see masons car

"I'd love to hang around with you more Keira"

"So would I, thank you for tonight"

"No problem have a good night" - he said hugging her

"See you later" -she waves and he looks back and smiles

She watched as he leaves and got into mason car.

"Just a catch up yeah?" -mason says sarcastically

"Yeah it was great" -I say getting my seat belt

"Why are you acting like a dick today"

"I'm literally not but ok?"- mason says starting the engine

The car ride was silent but the night was great why'd he have to ruin it all of a sudden?
