Note: I don't own the video, I just like the song in it and how it sounds on both the piano and violin (considering the fandom..) so I thought I might add it in :D
Don't play it till the chapter shows!———
The schools notorious bell, (known for being both the cause of relief and frustration in some cases) blessed the ears of those who had been awaiting that very sound for hours now. Students from different courses flooded the hallways, all seemingly either in a tired daze or chatting amongst themselves.Aizawa sighed, sinking into his desk chair to let his aching back rest. The day felt like it had lasted years, unexplainably, though I could be due to the fact he'd been in constant motion of the same schedule for years now. Obviously every once in a while an obstacle would block his path, un-permitting to his submission to continue his work. Nothing an all-nighter couldn't fix though. (unfortunately for him anyway)
He sat there, soaking in the warmth of the suns rays that slipped its comforting aroma into the room. Oddly enough, with all his students gone, he felt peaceful rather then worried. It's all he'd ever felt for a while now, but who could blame him?
A knock on the door echoed in the room, perking him up from his slumped state. He curiously peeked at the propped door wondering who'd come to chat.
"Shota? You there?" a voice said that he automatically recognized. Shutting his eyes closed one more time, in some attempt to store the energy slowly slipping from him, he stood up and walked towards the door.
"I'm here," the hero murmured with clear exhaustion in his voice. His hand gripped the doorknob to pull it open. As soon as he did, the person continued.
"Great! You up for an adventure?" Present Mic said through the slight echo of the empty hallway. A bright grin was on his face; making his dimples stand out. In all his glory, he looked no different then any other day. Cheery as always, and filled with even more surprises inside.
Aizawa slightly frowned, mostly from the thought of having to be dragged around with the most sincere person around lately. Not that it was a bad thing, but especially in his state, it would be tiring to keep up with his energy. Hizashi was a talkative person, the kind who could keep a conversation going without the other even responding much. It's what made him so socially aware, and right now the underground hoped he'd notice his hesitance towards the request.
"Ah...Us? Right now?" he responded trying to think of an excuse. He'd hate to lie but today wasn't his day.
Hizashi lit up even more at that. "Yeah! There's this place I think you'd like that a dear old friend of mine recommended!" he empathized the 'dear old friend' almost like he purposely wanted the underground to notice and question him on it. And for a second, he was considering it, mostly to avoid the topic at hand.
"Oh. Well-" he started, but was cut off by another voice.
"Yamada? Eren Yeager?" the voice whisper-shouted from down the hallway. Immediately they both looked down to see who had caught their attention. Aizawa, of the two, painfully aware of who it was due to the nickname.
Somewhat speed-walking towards them was Midnight. She was still in her hero outfit and clutching a few wads of files in her right hand.
"You two may as well be cuffed together! Not a second is it that one's not beside the other, hm?" she playfully teased as soon as she stood crossed from the two.
"I was catching Shota up on that place Tsukauchi was talking about earlier," Yamada defend, oblivious to the way the words had tugged at his co-workers guts. Internally, he was defending himself too.
