Darker Side Of Me

Nova's POV

I woke up and went to take a shower. Afterwards I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed. I haven't been getting enough sleep from studying. I put some make up on my face and smiled a little. I braided my hair. I picked a blouse and knee length shorts. I put some ankle boots on and I dried my hair. I left my hair in a braid and I grabbed my bag. I put my bag on as I grabbed a piece of bacon and ate it quickly. I love how my father made bacon. It always was crunchy and still had a lot of juice in it. I looked around for my light pink beanie hat and glasses. I found them after five minutes and put it on. I walked to school while humming to myself. I saw posters of The Unknown Girl saying 'Is she good or evil?' I rolled my eyes and continued walking. I saw Falcon by the park just sitting on the sidewalk that is by the scene of yesterday's little incident.

He waved towards me "Hey Nova! Come here for a sec!"

I walked to him "Good morning Falcon."

He put his hand through his hair "Did you see the video of what happened yesterday?"

I nodded and he continued "That was awesome but also weird." He looked behind me at the spot "I mostly came here to learn more about this girl."

I tilted my head a little "Really? This is out of town news?"

He nodded "Yeah. This girl is getting famous for her actions. I'm starting to think if I joined a band it wouldn't be as popular as this girl is getting already within four days."

I laughed nervously "I think you would be awesome in a band. What do you play in the band?"

He smiled slightly "Drums. I might not get as much attention as the lead guitarist or vocalist but I think being a drummer is awesome."

I laugh "I honestly like playing the drums the best. It brings out the beat the most."

He stands up and towers over me "I know right! Finally, someone with good logic of instruments."

I laugh "Don't get too happy Falcon Rockwell."

He rolled his eyes "Want me to walk you to school?"

I shrugged "Sure, why not?"

The rest of the way we were talking. All the sudden I see someone walking by us with the darkest eyes I have ever seen. I shrugged it off not trying to worry about it. But Falcon gets grabbed and I get grabbed too.

One of the men exclaimed "I wonder where that girl is.. I wonder if this little girl right here knows." He rubs his thumb over my cheek slowly but creepily.

Falcon yells "Let her go you dip*beep*!"

I kicked the guy in the groin and got out of his grasp. I pulled a pocket dagger out of my boots and I pulled another out of my other boot. I aimed it at the guy holding Falcon.

I yelled "Let him go now! Or I will sliced your neck off."

The man stared at me with the coldest eyes ever "Do. It."

I ran towards him when the man's expression started turning to shock mixed with fear. I stabbed his shoulder and he let go of Falcon. Falcon got the guy I kicked and started pinning him down. The man pushed me in the road and he tackled on top of me. He grabbed my daggers and put it in his pockets. He slapped my face and I screamed from pain. I turned to see a car driving towards us without any sign of it going to stop.
