Dork Diaries: Broken-Hearted BFF

Monday 19th August.

OMG! I think LAST NIGHT was the worst sleep I have ever had!! I kept having nightmares all because of what happened in Claire's but the scariest one woke me up screaming and my mom had to come in to calm me down!! MENTAL BREAK DOWN MUCH!!?

In the dream I was going on a shopping trip with Chloe, Zoey, Brandon, Theo and Marcus. I was at the mall and I saw them waving and smiling. I waved and smiled back but then someone came through me! I am not kidding!

It was Mackenzie!!! They were waving at her and not me! Because I was invisable!!! I watched as they hugged eachother and Brandon was blushing! Then they started saying stuff like "Glad we have Mackenzie now!" and "That other girl was such a dork!" and "After what she did to Chloe, You'd be surprised she hung out with us" I knew who they were talking about! ME!!! Mackenzie had an evil grin. Then all of a sudden I wasn't invisible any longer!!

I fell over and for some reason I was covered in custard, cream and chocolate sauce like I was a walking...breathing....giant....um, DESSERT! I also had my PJ's on! They all laughed, pointed and called me a total dork! As they laughed, Mackenzie became angry and turned into a big, pink, growling monster with pointy teeth and nails as she was chasing me around the mall!

I woke up in a cold sweat and I found myself screaming! Mom ran in along with dad! Mom breathed hard and said "Nikki!! What ever is wrong!?" I told them I had a bad dream. When they asked me what about I just said that someone I know had turned into a scary monster and was chasing me. Dad chuckled and Mom grinned as she kissed my forehead "Looks like someone still has dreams about Monsters!" she chuckled. Dad gave me some warm milk and a cookie to help me sleep. But it didn't work!! We had some herbal sleeping tablets but my dad didn't want me having any, even though there are SAFE! And they would have really helped!

I was tossing and turning all night trying to figure out how I can solve this mess! When I looked at my clock it was 5:59am! I got up and when to get a shower and eat breakfast....

I arrived at school about 7:37am and I was at my locker trying to think about the question when suddenly Mackenzie whipped open her locker "accidently" knocking into mine and slapping on her new Hot Pink Devine Revenge Lip Gloss on which she bought at Claire's yesterday. Thankfully, we just ignored each other until she grabbed her bag and brushed past me while whispering "Friday" which made me shiver.

I decided that I am going to deal with my own drama later but right now!!! Lets get Chloe and Marcus sorted!!

The lessons seemed to drag on but then it was lunchtime and me, Chloe and Zoey were sitting at table 9. Chloe looked nervous and the tension was thick enough to cut through it with a knife!! Then the bell rang to say we had 15 minutes before lunch was over.

"Could you guys please walk me over to the janitors closet?" Chloe pleaded. Me and Zoey looked at each other and then Chloe until I sighed...

"Okay Chloe, we'll walk you over"

Zoey then continued "But you know we can't come in. This is between you and Marcus"

"Yeah I know!" Chloe said quite offended then she frowned and said "Hey, Is it me or do you guys feel there are some evil eyes watching us?"
