MASON ARGENTO: Good Friday night everyone and welcome back for this week's episode of late night live. I'm your host Mason Argento and TONIGHT we have a VERY special guest. We've been trying to get her here on the show for months. Not only is she an academy award winner folks, but the YOUNGEST to win best actress, give it up for the one and only Katie clem!
[applause, guest walks out waving to the studio crowd]
MASON ARGENTO: so how does it feel? Being so young and successful?
KATIE CLEM: well—it's great !
[ host and guest laugh, audience following behind]
KATIE CLEM: but really,It feels good. I mean this is something I live and breathe—I've loved it since I was small and to be living it now? Being with all of these great people? It's really surreal.
MASON ARGENTO: I could imagine. Now we get a bunch of people through here every weekend but no one quite has a story like yours.
KATIE CLEM: you're too kind—
MASON ARGENTO: I'm serious! It's not often we get someone entirely self made these days. You've really worked your ass off, you deserve every bit of fame you get.
KATIE CLEM: well it wasn't entirely by myself , I have a great group of people who've helped me along the way, and I definitely couldn't have done it without my best friend in the ENTIRE world.
[audience awes]
MASON ARGENTO: how sweet, we love it—WE LOVE IT, RIGHT?
[applause on cue]
MASON ARGENTO: now katie, let's talk about your upcoming film, METAMORPHOSIS . What can you tell us? What CANT you tell us ?
KATIE CLEM: well for starters it's something I'm super proud of and so excited for everyone to see. It's a bit darker than the than anything else I've done before—
