it almost worked

Walking through the bridge val couldnt see anything other than red smoke. The smoke stung her already teary eyes as she looked for her parents. "MOM?DAD?" val voice shaking as she tried to find them. With teary eyes she look around at all the unmoving bodys, some unrecognizable. In the distance val sae something shine alittle. Running to it she saw her mom necklace shining alittle as the sun starts to come up.

Falling to her knee , val clung to her moms body as she sobed. "Please, mom wake up. PLEASE your said you'd be back". Choking on the thick smoke in the air, val stared to cough lightly while tear ran down her dirty face leaving a trail behind. The sound of grunting made her break out of her trance.

Looking over to the right she saw a big man with metal on his hand beating someone. The body he was beating looked to be dead. Scared val quickly grabbed her moms necklace and stood up. As she stood up she saw two other girls, a girl with red hair and another girl who was shorter with blue hair.

She stood there unable to move as the other girls saw her standing there with blood on her hands. While the girls looked at each other the guy had stopped beat the guy at saw the three girls , two standing next to each other ,the other about 3 feet away from the girls.

Val watch as the guy walked up to the two girls, the guy was towering over the girl. Val had looked away back to her mother. She was always pretty with dark brown hair, a lean face and she was gentle. She grow up in piltover and married vals dad who move from the undercity to piltover. Loss in thought while looking at her mother she didn't see the guy come over until she felt one of his hands on her shoulders.

Jumping back, she looked to see him, the blue haired girl was held up while the pink hair girl held his hand looking at her. " this your mom?" The man asked, the way he talked it was clear he wasn't from piltover. "Yeah" val said her voice barley above a whisper looking anywhere but the man. "It ok, I'll take can of you. Names Vander" he said said letting go of the pinks haired girls hand so he could put val on his shoulder then when back to grab his hand.

When Vander put her on his shoulder she grab onto the other side of his neck so she didn't fall. He was tall. Alot taller than val and being up so high made her alittle queasy but she didn't say anything. Walking over the another man val looked over at her mom. "Benzo" Vander said to the man pulled val pack the the present. " can you hold her. Don't wanna drop her on the way pack" Vander passed her to the man named benzo. He was shorter than Vander not by alot. He was bigger too and had sidebars that stopped alittle further than most.

As she was passed over she quickly grab onto him as he held her. "Vander we gotta go" he said as they walked back to the undercity. Val had never been to the undercity. Her father told her about it and all the rule he had to followed. She was promised that he would take her to his home when she was older.

She never thought she would see it so soon.
