• "BITCH HE SAID WHATTT?" Escella sprung up, shouting through the phone as you paused your game to turned the volume down. You were lying when you said you had a date tonight, hell you couldn't move on after Oikawa I mean who would if he was their first love?

"He said he would find a way to ruin i-" before you could finish your sentence an unsaved number started to face time you, making your heart slightly race. He hasn't called you since 2 months ago, why did he still have your number saved?

"OH MAH FUCKING GOD ESCELLA HE'S CALLING ME WHAT DO I DO??" You yelled frantically, watching the phone ring as Escella tried to urge you to answer it. You took a deep breath before finally answering the FaceTime call, immediately shifting your camera downwards.

"What?" You stated calmly as possible, trying not to hint that some part of you was excited to be on this call.

"Aw let's not act like you don't miss me y/n" the boy responded back, making you cover your mouth before a scream was let out. No no no no, you're supposed to be moving on from him, not entertaining this nigga.

"Whatever Oikawa, what do you want." You repeated, hearing a slight laugh as you finally decided to prop your phone up. You could see he was wearing a blue tee & grey shorts. Surrounding his neck was a towel, signaling that he had just got out the shower & his hair was wet.

Damn he looked good with wet hair.

"There go my pretty girl," He looked at the screen for a split second before resuming back to his note cards. Surprisingly he was pretty good at English, something you mildly failed at. When y'all was together he would help you study ever other night just so you wouldn't fall behind.

"Just shut up and keep studying," you retorted, resuming your game as you could feel him grinning at you through the phone. You couldn't lie, his presence did feel nice to be around again, but you couldn't deny the sadness you felt when he ended things out the blue with you.

"How's your mom & lil Ny?" He then asked, making
you look at the phone. He called your little sister Nyla "lil Ny" ever since he first met her & you thought it was the cutest nickname even tho she secretly hated it.

"They're good, Nyla got in trouble recently for spilling a whole box of cereal on the floor which resulted in mom falling," you stated, the both of you then bursted into laughter.

Oikawa truly did miss being around you and your family, but he wasn't entirely sure if you was ready to be in a relationship with him again, especially after he ended things suddenly one day. He had a lot of things going on, and he didn't want you to get hurt because of his dry actions he would soon act upon. So he then decided it would be best to end it before hurting you.

"Y/n I really wanna take you out again.." he started to say, looking at the camera as he then noticed you stiffen for a moment.

"I don't know Oikawa.. even though I was joking earlier about the date and stuff, I don't know if I'm ready to go out with you again." You stated, looking at him.

"I know and that's entirely my fault, I didn't mean what I said earlier today either- just please give me atleast a month to change your mind about me?"

"Give me some time to think about it okay?" you said, receiving a nod from the brunette.

Later that night, the face time call was filled with good conversation and laughter, something you thought would never happen again. You finally got tired & drifted off to sleep as he stayed up playing animal crossing with his friends named Kenma & Kuroo.

"Goodnight y/n," Oikawa stated with a smile, looking at you then back at the computer screen as he went back to playing the game.
