First Smile

You set down Conner in his swing since you had just fed him and he was in a milk coma. You just did some cleaning around the house until Niall got home from the studio, as you were wiping the kitchen counters you heard Niall walk into the front door.

You walk into the living room to see Niall sitting on the floor next to Conner's swing trying to get him to smile.

NIALL'S POV

Conner hasn't had his first smile yet, and I just really wanna get to smile. I kept making silly faces in front of him in his swing but he just continued to stare at me. I picked him up in my arms as he snuggled into my chest. I started to tickle his sides, and then a the sound of a baby's laugh echoed through the room.

"Oh my gosh... He just laughed!" Said a voice behind me. I turned around and saw y/n standing in the archway with a surprised expression on her face.
"I can't believe he laughed before his first smile even." I said looking down at my smiling child.
