I wrote this over two history lessons, it took me about an hour and a half to write in total so it's short...
Pls comment on what you think and what can be improved just remember though that I wrote this from scratch with no planning and I don't want to change too much of it sooo... yeah, carry on....
March 1348 Entry 1
Well I'm errr, kinda new to this whole 'diary' thing, got the idea from a friend actually.
Well, my name is Edward. I'm a stable boy. I think that I should say from the start that I don't believe in the church, I don't show that of course (I'd be punished if not killed) but I just don't think that it's real. Yeah well umm, that's a bit about me, I just hope that no one reads this while I'm still alive or I'd no longer be alive after saying that I don't believe in God aaaand I just said it again anyway, onto the actual news...
Early this morning I received news from my friend, who had recently fled from London, about a strange illness which was killing hundreds of people in mere days.
The news was a little scary but I reckon that we will be safe in Sharlithi (Our village) since we are so far away from London.
Anyway, my friend, William, traveled from London to stay with me since he was scared to remain in London and, honestly, it's been great fun since Will moved in but I've noticed that he's been vomiting a lot recently, I truly hope that he gets better soon...
May 1348 Entry 2
I know I've not written in my diary lately but I've become overloaded with work since a few of the other stable hands had passed away. My friend, Will, h-he died a few days after he arrived I think it had something o do with the vomiting. In fact I think he might have had the illness he told me about, I do recall him telling me that a symptom of that strange ailment taking over London was being violently sick. What's worse, I think that Will may have spread this 'plague' which us village folk have started calling The Black Death
I'm starting to fear for my life......
