Ally meets Matt Murdock, must I say more?

The room was dark as the ringing of my cell phone pulled me from my sleep, my hand slapping around on the nightstand as I grabbed my phone. I looked down at the glowing screen, telling me the phone call was from STARK Industries headquarters in LA. I let out a sigh as I pushed the phone to my ear, sitting up slowly as I let out a yawn.

"Hello?" I said down the phone, my eyes looking at the alarm clock which currently told me it was 3 in the morning. "Miss Ivankova, we have an issue here at the storage facility" a voice said on the other side of the line, Cyril the Head of Operations told me. "Better be a good one, it's the middle of the night" I replied before clearing my throat, waiting for a response. "Just pass me the phone" another muffled voice said before the phone was passed about from person to person.

"Miss Ivankova this is Agent Kajar from the FBI, we have a warrant here to seize all equipment that is found on STARK Industry Properties" the man said as I furrowed my eyebrows, leaning over and flicking on the light switch before sitting upright. "What are you talking about?" I asked, already swinging my legs out of the bed at the news. When Tony left STARK industries to me, this was not what I was expecting to deal with.

"With the recent advances with Spiderman and STARK technology in London, Homeland Security have deemed a complete seizure of all technological property tied to Mr Tony Stark"  he explained, one hand grabbing a pair of jeans from my drawer as I tucked the phone between my cheek and my shoulder, starting to get dressed. "Spiderman?" I asked, clearly having missed something whilst I was asleep. "You may want to turn on the news" he explained to me, my hand already searching for the TV remote.

It was resting on the nightstand as I picked it up, the TV illuminating the dark room as a picture of Peter Parker's face was staring back at me. A few clips of his fight with Mysterio flickered across the screen, the text at the bottom telling me that somehow Peter was being blamed for everything. "I want a copy of the warrant emailed to me right now, and pass the phone back to Cyril" I said, throwing the remote onto the bed as I pulled on my jacket.

"What do I do?" Cyril asked me, his voice laced with worry as I walked straight out of my room, bolting down the stairs. "Don't let them take anything" I told him, jumping down the last few as I tried to figure out where I was even going. By the time I got to Los Angeles the FBI would be gone, maybe I could call some people I knew at the FBI could tell me more. "It's a bit late for that" Cyril told me as he let out a sigh, the sound of a truck reversing telling me they had already taken too much.

"What do they plan to do, seize half of the jets that the Navy use?" I asked him shortly, shaking my head as I pushed my feet into my boots. "Are they going to pull Colonel Rhodes out of his suit?" I added, actually thinking that may be a possibility. "Do they want the phone in my hand too?" I shouted, everything I owned being associated to Tony's company.

"I think that may be their plan" Cyril replied as I left the house, turning to lock the door behind me. It was silent on the Brooklyn street, considering it was the middle of the night. "I'll call Happy and see what's going on" I said to Cyril as I unlocked my car, deciding the best place for me to be was at Avengers compound. "Don't let them take anything" I said as I hung up the phone, pushing the gas pedal to the floor as I made my way upstate.

I had spent all day with lawyers, trying to find out if we could fight whatever was going on at STARK, the conclusion was there was nothing we could do. I had had a distressed call from Rhodey, after he was pulled out of his suit during a training mission in Florida earlier. I stood in the hallway to the apartment building that I had to scale the fire escape to get into, not wanting to deal with all the press gathered outside.
