                   Chapa's pov
" I'm breaking up with you" her heart shattered with those simple five words. Don't let it show.  Don't let him know how much you care. "Okay" then I  quickly walk away from Veritas. Once I get home I sneak out the window. Your not a superhero unless you have a window you can sneak out of in your room. I go to the first place I think of. The Man's Nest.

Ignoring the questions from Schwoz and Ray I go to the training room. I just start zapping. I don't even know what I am really doing. Just zapping the dummies and punching and kicking. All while crying my heart out over stupid, stupid Veritas. I don't know how long I've been in here. I gave up all my violence and eventually ended up just laying on the ground sobbing. I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around my neck. Normally I would be mad but I didn't have the energy for that. I just leaned into whoever was holding me. And sobbed.

                       Miles's  pov
I was hopelessly in love. Key word hopelessly. Can you even imagine being in love with someone who will never love you back. He sighed as he saw Chapa and Veritas holding hands laughing in the hallway. He saw this everyday. It was nothing new he had to show he was happy for his best friend. Even if he himself wasn't happy. So yeah typical symptoms whenever he saw them together his heart clenching while trying to run a marathon.

Mika sees this. "You good"  she asks. She knows about my ridiculous crush on Chapa. "Yeah I will be I just got to find someone else". Mika looks at me as she closes her locker with her books in her hands. " Go to your hot tub tonight you need it I will cover for mom and dad for you got it but you got to be home before midnight alright" he finally turned around to look at his twin. "What would I do without you thanks mittens". She blushed "I thought we agreed never to speak of that again unless you wanted to get pranked" he recalled the last time he brought it up. He chuckled slightly scared "Alright, alright you win thanks again" she smiled as she made her way over to her next class.

It was about 8pm. He was going to go take his hot bath. "Hey Mika I am going to head out now okay" she didn't look up from her homework but gave me a thumbs up to show she heard. He raised his fist and soon he was at the hot tub room.

I don't know how long I was in there. At least an hour. But he heard Ray and Schwoz talking. Then screaming. He recognized it as Chapa. Normally I would just leave her be but I also heard sobbing and her screams were not only of rage but of pain and hurt. He quickly dried himself off and put his normal clothes back on. Now there was no more screaming just sobs. I ran into Ray and Schwoz coming to check on Chapa but he pushed them away. "Let me talk to her better me than you guys" they looked at each other Schwoz and Ray were out in a heartbeat. He sighed and opened the door to see a sobbing Chapa curled up on the floor.

I didn't know what to do. I mean what could have possibly happened that she was like this. I just wrapped his arms around her. I was surprised when she leaned into him instead of zapping him. Oh no she's broken. He gently asked " You ok cupcake" she simply shook her head no. Wow no threats for calling her cupcake. "I am right here if you need to talk" it was about a minute before she spoke. "Veritas broke up with me". Oh. Now I was feeling very conflicted. 1 I wanted to go and beat up that stupid guy. 2 I was so happy now that Chapa is single. 3 I hate myself for feeling happy when here is Chapa broken on the floor. I turned Chapa to look at me in the eyes. "If he doesn't see just how amazing and wonderful you are he's not the one he is not worth the tears". She let out a shaky sigh "He was saying how mean I was and secretive an- and violent." Okay now I was past mad I was furious but for now consoling Chapa. " Hey you might be a little violent and you had to keep danger force a secret but if all he sees is that and not how loyal protective smart thoughtful and kind you are he is not the one for you" She thought about it for a moment"Yeah yeah your right but I will still be thinking about him for some time" she said while wiping her tear stained cheeks. " Then how about we hang out tomorrow just you and me goofing off all day no Bose getting into things he shouldn't and no Mika telling us its against the law" she laughed a little at that "Theres that smile c'mon let me take you home"
