✨ Chapter Two✨

✨Friend or Foe✨

3rd Person's P.O.V
The two had returned from the doctor's appointment and had laid in bed to rest.
The next day came, they did their usual morning routine, then Izumi reminded her mother that she had to go hang out with her best friend, Katsuki Bakugou....

Or so she thought

After breakfast, the younger version of Inko was excited "Mama, can I go hang out with Kacchan now?" Izumi asked with literal stars in her eyes. Giggling at her daughter's behaviour, the kind mother agrees "Sure honey, but do make sure to back before it's late" she said.

Excited, the small child runs out of the house and heads to the park down the street, when she saw Katsuki in the sandbox playing with some All Might figurines "Kacchan!" She shouted out to him, he noticed her and grinned the shittiest grin a 4-5 year old should not have..."Hey Izumi!" When Izumi reached to where he was, "Kacchan! Did you get your quirk yet!?" She asked, proudly, the blonde dog human hybrid grins and brings out his hand, popping mini fireworks in his hands "the doctor said my quirk is explosions--I can make explosions with my sweat! Isn't that cool!? I'll be the number 1 hero!!" Izumi had stars in her eyes "Woah Kacchan! Your quirk is so cool!" The poor girl exclaimed in awe at her best friend..."Heck yeah! I know my quirk is cool! What about you?" Katsuki asked after turning off his explosions...now, this is where Izumi was nervous. Sure she trusted Katsuki, but she was not going to risk her safety, and she wouldn't like to disobey her mother, and on the other hand she doesn't want to lie to Katsuki, even though it's technically the truth, just as she was about to speak, she had a flashback

At dinner time, the two are seated by the table,as they are eating, Izumi asks "Mama can I go play with Kacchan at the park tomorrow?" Now, the two are best friends, and so are their parents..now, Inko wanged to see how much of a faithful friend can Katsuki be "sure honey, but remember, if he asks for your quirk, in fact if ANYONE asks about your quirk, you tell them you are quirkless, ok?" Inko said sternly to her daughter "Ok mama"

Izumi had now made up her mind..she had decided in what to tell Katsuki..."I don't have a quirk..."

After she had said those words, a THICK tension has grown in between the two toddlers, until Katsuki broke it "...YOU'RE QUIRKLESS!?" asked the blonde child which caused Izumi to flinch. He was shocked but had a look of anger and disgust, Izumi had somehow saw this coming, but the fact that it had actually happened hadhit her as hard as a train. "You're not going to be a hero without a quirk!" Exclaimed Katsuki, "Hah! Quirkless people are useless! I can't be seen around hanging out with a useless person! Hmph!" Izumi was left in shock, "why are you being so mean to me Kacchan?" She asked as she was trying to hold in her tears. Harshly, the boy replied "I don't wanna be seen around with such a Deku" Izumi was confused, "Deku?" She asked as she was confused as to why she was being called that, and why it felt bad "Deku is what useless people like you are called! Hmph!" He finally said before stomping away to play with other kids he considered cool apart from Izumi, to which he didn't consider her as such anymore.

The poor girl was left in tears, her heart was shattered as she had lost the only person she saw as a friend, she stood from the place she was seated, with tears falling her face, she walks home. When she arrived at her home, she enters the house and heads to her room, her mother, who was in the kitchen, which had a view of the stairs, saw her go up with a long expression pasted on her face.

Of course she was worried, so she halted whatever it is she was doing and followed Izumi into her room only to see her seated in a corner, sobbing, now thos was worry-worthy "Izumi?" After she called her name, Izumi, upon hearing her name being called, wiped her tears and looked up at her mother, she remained silent "Are you okay?" Asked a worried mother as she approached her daughter and crouched down next her, answering her question, as to not worry her mother Izumi said "yes, I-I'm okay...." Inko was skeptical about this answer so she asked again to make sure "are you sure?" Now, Izumi did not want to be a bother so she answered "y-yeah, i-m sure, it's nothing *sniff*"
