[2nd Person POV]

After about an hour, you arrived at the manor. Farzan led you to a small room. He told you that the room is your new place and you will work for the balladeer as a maid in his manor.

The room was pretty simple. It had a single bed, a desk, and a closet. There was another door that leads to your small bathroom.

"The balladeer bought you from your parents so I'm sure you're aware that you are his property now. At the moment, he instructed you to be a maid in his manor under the supervision of Evin, the housekeeper of this manor." Farzan explained before taking his leave.

He left you alone in your room because he had to talk to Evin about you. While he was gone, you decided to dress yourself up in your new uniform.

The maid uniform was comfortable and simple. It's a black dress with a white apron and white thigh-high socks.

You looked around the room while waiting. You heard a knock at your door so you quickly got up and opened the door. Behind it was a lady who was a few inches taller than you. She had long brown hair. It was tied in a low ponytail and was neatly placed on her shoulder.

"Greetings, I am Evin. I am the housekeeper of this manor so that means I'm in charge of all the servants who work here. From now on, you're under my care. I see that you're already dressed up in your uniform. Well rest assured dear, you're going to work starting tomorrow. For now, I'll teach you the basics. Oh, and Farzan had already left the manor. Now come along!"

Evin then gives you a tour of the Manor. She made sure you knew where all the rooms are located such as the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, etc.

After the tour, there was one place that no one was allowed to enter. It was a simple door similar to the others except it leads to the basement. Evin instructed you to never enter that room if it's ever unlocked because it is off-limits.

"The Balladeer told me that no one should enter that room... You see, whenever he goes home he- ugh, never mind. Just don't go inside there, ever and I mean it." "Yes ma'am!" You immediately replied.

Evin taught you everything you need to know about the basics so now you're inside your room with nothing to do. On your desk rests a book. You decided to read it to pass time.

You felt uncomfortable the whole time for some reason. As if something or someone was... never mind! It could just be your dress or the fact that you're staying in the home of a mafia boss that's making you feel a sense of uneasiness.

You finished the book in no time. Good thing there was a small clock on your desk. It's currently 7:10 pm, maybe they aren't going to serve the servants their dinner?

You sighed and laid down on your bed. You closed your eyes and in no time, you were fast asleep.

Unfortunately, your nap was disturbed when you heard many loud knocks on your door and a faint voice calling out for you, "Miss [Y/n], p-please wa-wake up! You still have to eat dinner...!"

Who could that be? It doesn't sound like Evin. You get up to see who it was. You had to look down a bit because it was a shorter female. She had short blonde hair with bangs that matched her beautiful ruby eyes and figure. She looks meek and gentle, probably very shy to wake you up.

"A-ah I'm sorry for waking you up... Miss Evin told me to wake you up s-so..." she shyly said before looking away.

"Oh no it's okay... I'm sorry, I didn't hear you calling for me!" You were quick with an apology.

She nodded and told you that it was fine. She brought you to the kitchen and into another room, over there was the separate dining area for the servants of the manor.

The unknown lady brings you to an empty table in the corner to eat dinner with her. "I'm sorry if you had to eat with me... I hope y-you don't mind!" She said when she noticed your confusion.

You reassured her that it was fine and it was better if you can avoid people as much as possible. You still didn't trust the girl but she looks like she's about to cry whenever she tries to talk to you.

Later on, you discovered that her name was Gwen. She was 2 years younger than you. She told you that she just turned 18 this year yet she's already working for her the balladeer.

Looks like she was a daughter of a rich businessman but suddenly 'disappeared' and ever since then she was forced to work in the manor.

You and Gwen had a good chat together before returning to your rooms. It was nice that you had a room of your own when you find out that the servants shared a room except for Evin.

You were laying in your bed again. The uneasiness you felt earlier came back. You don't understand why you just feel like someone... is there with you.

Note: For Evin's hairstyle it's similar to dead moms in anime / Lisa's hair in genshin. Gwen's hairstyle is a bob cut with bangs! :)
