♦This is a story of fiction, the characters will not always be how they would be in real life, or like them at all, so please don't come for me later on, I hope you enjoy. ♦

As sunlight pours through my window burning my eyes, I stir in bed pulling my comforter over my head. Today I told myself I'd start my packing, I won't be returning home to Korea for another month, I figured I'd start my packing early though so I wont be as stressed and can make time for my friends. Studying abroad has been a blessing, I've been here 6 years and with all that has happened this last year it would be better to be home.

I sit up checking my appearance in the mirror across my room, my hair is a mess, my face slightly swollen from sleep. I groan as I stretch out my tensed limbs, letting out a small sigh I close my eyes. Pulling the comforter back I sling my legs off the side of the bed to meet the cold hardwood floor, as I tiredly search for my slippers with my eyes closed. My foot makes contact with one, a small smile plays on my lips at the soft and fluffy feel, feeling way better than the cold hard floor as I slip them on. I stand and make my way to the boxes in front of my closet I set up the night before, opening my closet I start packing things I wont need for the next month. Playing with things I find along the way, there's things I haven't seen in years, bringing back memories, some making me let out small giggles here and there. Coming across an old picture of my old bestfriend, Nari and I, her on my back acting like superman and me slightly crouched down acting like spiderman. As I fall back in a fit of laughter, trying to remember who took the photo of us, reminiscing on how I was happiest here. Thinking about how in a month we'll be back together, I slightly wipe my eyes as my emotions get to me.

I hope things will be the same, we are still in touch as much as we can be, but seeing each other in person is a different story. We don't have the same friends anymore, we aren't neighbors anymore, we don't do everything together like we used to. As I look up in the top of my closet looking at all that has to be packed something catches my eye, making my way to my feet I stand on the tips of my toes and grab what I'd spotted... My old laptop. Trying to turn it on I realize its dead as my ambition when it comes to packing at this point, I look over at the box I'd been packing for the last hour, its almost empty. Seems good enough, this seems like it needs way more of my attention and its important anyways, at least that's how I'm justifying this decision. Grabbing the charger I plug my laptop in, instantly unlocking it, opening all the old apps I'd use, ending with the one I used the most, the message app, looking at past conversations, I check the time.

It's 2:37 PM, SHIT. Work is at 3:30 PM and I haven't even showered yet, running to grab clothes I sprint to the shower and get ready, leaving immediately after.

Unlocking my apartment kicking off my shoes and into my slipper, I make my way to my room throwing myself onto the bed. Checking the time 11:23 PM, looking over at my laptop 3 notifications, just as I'm about to click them a call comes in, I sit up picking it up instantly.

"Min Jee~!" she screams, making me jump slightly. "I called earlier, seeing your account being active again" She says laying back into her headboard. "Hey Nari, as loud as ever, sorry I was at work." I excitedly giggle back. We talked for hours truly catching up and talking on old times when I remembered the picture and my question from earlier, running over to grab it showing her. "Hey remember this? Do you remember who took this?"
