CHECKMATE! DON'T MOVE

CAUGHT - CHAPTER 2

When they thought that they have escaped from the cops that's when they  realized they didn't upon hearing gun shots from the back which only brought shivers to Souris's spine, their laughter turned into deafening silence which Souris broke by scowling  “ oh sht they're here ” said she; in a soothing manner

Mela on the other hand was shaking intensively, her fear was unwavering, seriously, this isn't the first time that we're being chased at hanggang ngayon takot parin siya, Souris couldn't blame her as well cause  Mela has an anxiety

While Souris, on the other hand felt alive, really, this is thrilling, She could clearly hear their engines doubling it's speed and so did she double her speed, hindi naman sila magpapahuli no.

But if ever we get caught it'll be really fcked up if we get caught and if ever that happens? We'll be facing a serious danger, Souris shook my thoughts away and focused on driving

Souris could hear Meladroit's shrieks from behind damn she swore it tortured her ears for a while that almost felt like an eternity

Souris drifted her wheels to the right alley and it led them to a pathway which seemed like no one had ever driven into and finally they lost them.

The cops lost them rather, Souris took a couple of short cuts making their way home

“ that was exciting ” Mela blurted out na nagpatawa naman kay Souris

“ it was for me and for you it wasn't, why? Cause you literally looked like  your soul had left your body  ” Souris kidded and was followed by a hysterical laugh na siyang naging dahilan naman ng pagsimangot  ni Mela

Ilang minuto lang ang nakalipas ay nakauwi na sila sa wakas ngunit hindi maalis sa isip ni Souris ang sasakyan na nakita niya kanina, Souris knew that there's something off about it however she shrugged those thoughts away and was brought back to her senses when she heard Mela from their house calling her out

Souris crept in their house and she was welcomed by the scent of their meal, mukhang galing pang microwave kasi umuusok usok pa, niyakag naman siya ni Mela na kumain na nang makapagpahinga na silang dalawa dahil nga gusto rin ni Mela na mawala sa isip nito ang mga nangyari

It took a while for Souris to sleep, the scene from earlier kept bugging her, it never stopped from pestering her until she drifted off to sleep

However Souris was awakened by a few voices that seemed to be murmuring in the corner of her room, Souris could feel their presence and yet she didn't  bother to open her drowsy eyes but then she got back to her senses when she heard Mela's whimpers she's sure it's coming somewhere near her

Souris was about to call for Meladroit however when she felt the urge from rising on her bed that's when suddenly a handkerchief covered her nose and mouth that only made her groan

Souris couldn't fight back cause she felt a hand on her feet and on her hand, restraining her for fighting back and escaping from them

Soon enough she grew tired from fighting however before she could even lose her consciousness she heard someone speak with someone over the phone “ got her boss, this little kitten still fought back but she's down, we're coming ”

Upon hearing those her eyes grew tired and she felt like she had no control over her body anymore, she could clearly hear her heart beating it its inhuman pace and it feels like it is about to burst, even though it is against her will she drifted off to sleep with so many questions  bomboarding her mind

Souris never expected this time to come, even though she's known for being fearless doesn't mean she's not afraid of death or in what the future holds for her, it is inevitable but why does it have to flow this way? Why now?
