Taking another puff of his burning cigarette, Kinn lets out a frustrated scream before kicking the glass coffee table before him, the glass shattering into a million pieces.

Chan stood and watched as the heir continued to throw a tantrum, expression unwavering. Chan was not even surprised by Kinn's reaction. He raised him along with his siblings minus Kaira for years, he was even known as the Theerapanykul heirs' 'bodyguard nanny'. Years of raising the boys have taught him that there is a need for lots of patience when it comes to handling mafia brats with emotional issues and unsaid anger-management issues.

Mafia brats, huge egos, emotional constipation, manipulative fathers.

A whole package to say.

Unlike Chan, Big on the other hand was scared out of his wits, the sweat on his brows giving away the fake facade of impassiveness. Big has witnessed his boss's anger multiple times, but this was new. He had never seen Kinn so mad, not at his enemies but at his own kin, his own sister who Big knew was only trying to help him.

Hell everyone could see that but why not Kinn?

"What the fuck is she on about?! First the Yakuza and now killing Mes!" The mafia heir throws his cigarette into the ashtray harshly, hands clumsily unbuttoning a few buttons of his shirt as he leans over his office table, gripping the edges tightly.

Kinn was confused, confused by everything, plus the frustration with the increasing number of recent attacks on him, the man was about to lose his mind. He and Kaira were close as kids, always stuck to the hip and Kinn could read her with ease but it wasn't after Kinn was announced heir that the cracks started forming. The two grew distant, eventually only sharing less than 5 words in a week. The final blow only came in when Kaira decided to study abroad at the age of 9, completely pulling herself from the family business, which fully destroyed any remaining hopes of repairing their relationship.

"Big?"

The bodyguard snapped out of his thoughts before responding to his boss.

"Get ready to head to Kim's tomorrow and...send in updates on both of them."

"Yes Khun Kinn." Kinn dismisses the latter, Big bowed before leaving the office, leaving only the two older men in the room.

Kinn turns around, facing Chan with a cold hard stare, "Get Porsche ready for his duties tomorrow."

Chan, copying Big earlier, bowed and complied with his orders before closing the door behind him.

Kinn clenches his jaw, his eyes averting to the scattered photos of Mes's body on the floor, recognising the accuracy of the bullet wound on his chest, straight at his heart. 'What the hell is she doing? Trying to overtake me...'

"I heard Big is getting transferred out of Khun Kinn's detail today. "

Porsche scoffs as he continues to shove food into his mouth, "Serves that bastard right."

Pete rolls his eyes at his new roommate's petty fight with his colleague, the news about Porsche's fight with Big and Ken had spread across the whole compound. Apparently, some of the bodyguards were quite delighted that the top bodyguards were being put into their places while some just feel that Porsche is an idiot that will definitely die on his first mission.

Pete decides to break the silence, "So..you are Khun Kinn's new head bodyguard now huh?"

Porsche reluctantly admits, playing with his food with the fork in his hand, "What about you?"
